[Help] Finding a spirit to invoke

I've only been doing magick for maybe half a year. All I've done is fire and forget sigils, which has been very successful, and perform the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram twice daily. I want to invoke a spirit and ask it to communicate via pendulum (to help me with creativity/ideas), but I have no idea which spirit to invoke. I want to invoke an existing spirit because a thoughtform fed by one person wouldn't compare to a thoughtform fed by thousands or millions; I'd get weak results from a spirit I created. I don't know anything about astrology, angels, and so on. Are there any books/pages/sites you recommend?
