It's been a long time since the last update. the reason is that i have not had any way to procure a brass vessel for the experiments, so maybe i can get help from people here. i searched on temu for some options that i could use but i'm not sure they are brass, and i don't know any place locally where i could have one made. i visited antiquaries but they cannot assure to me that the material is brass and some are too large and expensive. so, if anyone has any ideas or suggestions, i would like to hear them

I was recently searching for my own brass vessel online when I came to the conclusion that most solomonic practitioners appear to make their money from the sale of overly expensive items related to the craft. You'll be hard pressed to find one under 600. The irony is that most people get into the occult because we lack that kind of disposable income. To put it bluntly, most of us are poor as f*** and can't afford such items, nor can we afford any of the other over priced paraphernalia required to do the procedure exactly as the grimoires stipulate. In my search for the brass vessel I came to the conclusion that for most practitioners, the treasure and financial gains they acquire, come from scamming the rest of us with their expensive trinkets.

Do I wish I had the skill, discipline, focus, locale, accoutrements, and mental fortitude that Faria has? Undoubtedly.

But I don't. Not right now at least. So I do the best I can, with what I have, where I am. And, as you can probably tell, the results are hit and miss.

However, I recently painted a small wooden box with the seal of Solomon and surrounded it with the seals of the seven archangels, effectively making my own poor man's imitation of a brass vessel. Obviously I can't burn anything inside a wooden box, but it serves as a good spirit box of sorts. Any spirit im currently working with gets placed in the box. Occasionally I'll offer them incense as part of ongoing projects, or to just keep them sweet in the hopes that they'll be amenable to me when I call upon them for something.

Again, will it be as good or effective as Faria's diligence to the proper procedure? No. Not even close. But it's sure as hell better than nothing.

Alternatively, you could fashion a teapot, or other such item into a brass vessel of sorts. Don't let perfect be the enemy of good. Doing something can only be a whole lot better than doing nothing.
