Hi guest! As you can see, the new Wizard Forums has been revived, and we are glad to have you visiting our site! However, it would be really helpful, both to you and us, if you registered on our website! Registering allows you to see all posts, and make posts yourself, which would be great if you could share your knowledge and opinions with us! You could also make posts to ask questions!
Greetings,
I have created this thread so that members can share which grimoire delivered them the best results. Also were the results as expected or more of a lesson in nature.
Please also discuss whether you adopted a traditionalist approach or worked in a more chaos magic/modern adaption style.
I expect that most of the posts will be regarding the GOS,GV NAP etc.Experiences with other grimoires are welcome too.
Please let me know if this topic is redundant.I will delete the thread in that case.

Picatrix absolutely does, but it's a beast to use. I have used the Veritable Key of Solomon's pentacles before and they are great. Those are the two I know backwards and forwards. (I also use the Mathers pentacles, but not with his system.)
Book of Oberon has a great reputation and is more accessible, but no personal experience as of yet.
Not sure if this really counts as much but there is a prayer in the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses (Peterson's version) which petitions God to bless the operator or whoever is reciting the prayer with general knowledge and guidance on their journey which provided almost instant results for me. Thought it was worth sharing. Can only imagine what the rest of the magic found in there can do.
I would strongly suggest that before anybody tries out any Grimoires at all - no matter what type - to get thoroughly grounded in the basics first, and will add a quote here from the late John Milo DuQuette's superb 'Enochian Vision Magick' where he states the following:
First the magician becomes master of the pentagram and a full citizen of the world of the five elements of the microcosmic universe. By repeated performances of the pentagram rituals & meditations, the magician's psyche becomes balanced & accustomed to the world of the four directional winds, the four elements and the corresponding magickal weapons: the wand, cup, sword & disk.
Once the elemental (microcosmic) universe is mastered, the magician then moves on to the next step in the attunement process by mastering rituals of the hexagram. Here the magicians point of reference is enlarged as his or her consciousness and identity is obliged to expand from the microcosmic world of the elements to the macrocosmic greater world - the world characterized by the sun orbited by the planets and surrounded by the belt of the zodiac.
This is very basic stuff, but it illustrates how rituals enable the ceremonial magician to externalize internal processes and undergo self transformation. Would-be magicians who attempt more advanced work without being adjusted by these early attunements are ill prepared to understand or properly absorb what is happening to them within the context of the progressively higher magickal environments in which they presumptuously wish to operate. It is true that some magicians may recieve seemingly dramatic and noteworthy effects from such premature efforts, but seeds of promise cannot long take root in soil that is not properly prepared or that is too shallow.
The above may read as if it is attempting to teach granny how to suck eggs, but I cannot stress long or often enough of the importance of doing the groundwork first - tedious though it might feel to the more impatient of us these preliminary steps should not be avoided, glosseds over or otherwise skipped and/or ignored & we ignore advice such as this to our own perils.
Why have I posted this, when it could be argued that I am simply avoiding the OP's original question? Simply because it matters not one iota what I think, or what I use, or what I believe to be 'the Grimoire that delivers' as I am not the OP, and my mind works in a different way - is not Every Man & Every Woman a Star, after all? (Not that I would consider myself as a Thelemite, you understand, but that the sentence as stated applies across the board along with the even more sublime (and even simpler) statement that magick is 'the science & art of causing change to occur in conformity with Will' - accepting the truth of this doesn't make the person who understand the truth of this a Thelemite any more than accepting the truth of 'Do unto others as you would have them do unto you' makes you a Christian. Some truths are, after all, universal.
@ Kalajadu777, in summary before you move to any grimoire (or indeed anything remotely similar) please, I beg you, master the basics first.

AN HUMBLE PRAYER FOR THE ATTAINMENT
OF WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING
"For the Lord gives wisdom, out of his mouth comes knowledge and understanding."
-Proverbs 2:6.
"If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and
upbraids not." -Epistle ofJames 1 :5.
Oh, God my Father and Lord of all goodness, who created all things by your
word, and who prepared humans in your wisdom to rule over all creatures that were
made by you, that they should rule over the world with holiness and righteousness,
and judge with an upright heart. Give me that wisdom which is constantly around
your throne, and cast me not out from among your children. For I am your servant,
and the son of your handmaiden, a weak creature of a short existence, and too weak
in understanding, in right, and in the law. Send it down from your high heaven and
from the throne of your glory that it may abide with me and labor with me, that I
may know and do the things that are pleasing to you. For your wisdom knows and
understands all things, and let it lead me in my works and protect me in its glory, and
my labors will be acceptable to you. When I was yet in my youth I sought wisdom
without fear in my prayer. I prayed for it in the temple, and will seek it to my end.
My heart rejoices over it as when the young grapes ripen. You are my Father, my God,
and my shepherd, who helps me. Your hand created and prepared me; teach me that I
may learn your commandments; open my eyes that I may behold the wonders of your
law. Remember, Lord, your covenant, and teach me what to say and think. Instruct
me and so shall I live. Lord, show me your ways, lead me in your truth, and teach me.
I am your servant; teach me that I may understand your evidence. Console me again
with your help and let the happy spirit sustain me. You lover of life, your immortal
spirit is in all things. Teach me to work in a manner that is well pleasing to you, for
you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me in pleasant paths. With you is the living
fountain and in your light we see the light. Let my goings be established, and let
no unrighteousness rule over me. Teach me wholesome manners and enlighten me,
for I believe your commandments. Lead me in your truth and teach me, for you are
the God who helps me, and I wait daily before you. Let your countenance shine upon
your servant and teach me to know your justice. Let me behold your glory, for you,
Lord, are my light, and you will turn my darkness into day. Will you join yourself
with me in eternity, and trust me in righteousness and in judgment, in grace, and
mercy, yes, will you join me in faith that I may know you, the Lord. Lord, let my
complaints come before you. Instruct me according to your word. Let my prayers
come before you, rescue me according to your word. Show me your ways, 0 Lord,
that I may walk in your truth. Keep my heart in singleness that I may fear your name.
I will remember your name from childhood, therefore, all people will thank you forever
and ever. Amen.
I’ll gotta open it back up and find it, I’ll get back to you with a page number and the title/description it has above it

This should be no surprise, especially to those who were around during the first iteration of Wizard Forums back in 2012, but the grimoire that's gotten me the most results is The Black Dragon by way of Michael Cecchetelli's Crossed Keys.
