Jason Read has authored several books on Chinese magic, such as Practical Chinese Magic, Fox Magic, Luban, and Thunder Magic. I would like to know if anyone has practiced these rituals and had successful results.

I've tried some stuff from his book "Practical chinese magic". As far as I can see, his step-by-step guide for Fu looks valid. The 8 great spells given there are also with sources tracable. When talking of the images, all seals and sigils are surely hard to trace, but for example the golden light seal is valid. I've done the GL spell for about three years as a part of my morning routine and it countributed great to gain enought power, for example, to work after a sleepless night, over time it also fortified health and flu resistanse for me.
The things in Fox Magic look interesting, thou harder to trace sources, someone who I know tried the fox glamour and suceeded in it.
Thunder magic and Luban seem to be a way harder to do, so can't say for sure.

Haven't read, but Benebel Wen work just seems more well researched and well translated in general. The Tao of Craft is a good starting point.
