Replying to get this question circulating again to see if anyone has read/worked with the book.

I am currently working with it! So far, it's been a great experience. I love the hymns and Jack is very knowledgeable about Hekate and Greek mythology. It definitely shows in the book and you can tell that it was a labor of love. It's split into several sections and I am on the second. I've learned a lot about Hekate and I feel much closer to her while reading and working with this book.

Nice :)
I would like to work with her but she seems to be an all or nothing goddess.

I've heard other people say that, but she seems to have weathered my own wishy washy nature pretty well. I say give it a go, even if it's only for a short while. You can still get something out of the experience even if it's temporary :)

Cool to know that she'll tolerate that :D
Might give her a modest offering in respect.

i see that Jack Grayle has also a couple of courses on Hekate, 'Hail Hekate' via the online Blackthorne school at $400.
interesting how popular Hekate seems to be today despite the almost complete lack of any original material from ancient Greece - Hekate is mentioned very sparsely only a few lines here and there.
It also seems to be the case that her image is being reinvented as the demonic goddess of witches and black magic when i do not see much evidence of that from antiquity.
we all know the story of persephone, but what more is there actually? A couple of lines linking her to Circe?
i guess now that egregore has been created, it should be possibe to tap into and get results, but it begs the question how powerful is a source when it's not actually plugged into the deep past?
it would be interesting to connect with any modern Hekate practioners. I will be in Athens in a couple of months and would be very interested in talking to anyone from Greece that has an actual Hekate practice with some genuine connection to antiquity.

Good morning,
I have always felt a deep connection with Hecate. Today I am beginning the Grayle practice, which starts eight days before the New Moon — that is, today. I will share my experience along the way; perhaps it may be useful to someone.

There's a lot from the PGM. Also, the book Hekate: Liminal Rites by Rankine and d'Este is a good overview of the historical info about her and is available in the library.

Ironically, despite her being more of a marginal goddess in antiquity, it's easier to find written records of her practices, epithets, etc than it is about Ares (at least when I looked).

- the author is a Greek witch (who lives in Greece) and helped Grayle with some of the Hekataeon translations in a later edition.
