Have guests do ama's and special presentations

I think it would be cool to have different occultism, authors, and such do guest amas or presentations.
Imo it would bring allot of pll to the forum from ther circles and introduce ppl to said presenter. I know s few ppl that would probably be up to it.whats does everyone think?

It’s been suggested many times before, the main issue in the past has just been, ok who? And who’s going to get them to do it? As for authors, I know a couple who still respect WF despite their books being shared here, but I’d venture to guess that the vast majority of them are upset by it.

If you have people who’d be up for it, certainly bring the topic up with them. Nothing much needs to be done in particular, they can just start a thread. If it’s someone popular enough, I can do a sitewide announcement/alert.

Nowadays there are much more prominent occultists on WF than the past, so I am very open to the idea.

Beyond that, if you have any specific requests for me, let me know.

I jave plenty of time to talk to ppl and would enjoy reaching out to see if I can get some interest. so that part is taken care of, dont get me wrong im no one special but I dont mind doing it.

im sure there will be some kickback as far as book share, your right about that.

AbammonTheGreat volunteered to do it so we can use that as a introduction? if they are kind enough to be the proverbial "guinea pig" to get things started. eventually maybe we can get someone each month or 2

Yeah just give me a topic ill do one. I talk alot on these forums about letter magic and spirit conjuration. But I work a lot with medium/conjurer dual dynamic (how to practice ceremonial magic with two people), i do annual initiation cycles for groups of people (so I can talk about how to initiate others into a tradition, pretty useful skill), or hypnotism and how to integrate it into occultism. All areas of expertise i dont speak publicly on that im willing to make a wizardforums specific tutorial/presentation for the users here depending on what theyre interested in.

we could.put it to a vote? is there a voting system avaliable on the forum?

ive also sent put some feelers to ppl to gage interest. and I have a friend who's the host a a popular podcast and a college professor who is up to do one as well.
