Have you ever been threatened or warned on a dream?

I've been warned that if I try to do a certain thing and it doesn't go well, something will happen to me, a thing I personally fear since im a child

I'm thinking about this being just a trick of my mind, or being a "real" thing (whatever real means).

Sometimes in my dreams I receive both hints and warnings. For example, once I dreamed that the plane I was planning to take to another city had crashed. In reality, the flight got simply canceled due to bad weather.

Yeah. I was planning on doing a ritual for the first time. And researched it quite a bit. Then had a dream where a man told me to never do that ritual. It felt like a stark warning and remembered the dream and the details. I don’t always remember my dreams or they become very complicated and I’m not able to articulate into the English language. It’s a pretty common ritual. And many people have written about it here and in books. Also there’s lots of video footage of it on YouTube. I don’t know… the warning seemed serious and was enough for me to not do it and seek advice.
