Hello to this community. I am a kinda newish occultist (2 year dabbeling) who has now decided to become a bit more dedicated. In my free time I study psychology and read a ton of books. I hope we can all grow closer to our goals together.

Just to get an idea, really :)

Which books have inspired you most - that might help you get a handle on which aspect of the occult you want to go deeper into...

The first magical book I ever received was Visual Magick: A Manual of Freestyle Shamanism by Jan Fries and at the time I really worked with it, the concepts genuinely expanded my life in a very positive way.

Since then, Jason Miller’s Protection & Reversal Magic, The Sorcerer’s Secrets, and Consorting with Spirits have resonated with me a lot. Aidan Wachter’s Six Ways made magic feel very hands-on and accessible. I’ve also been exploring some Phil Hine and Jung’s work forms a strong psychological backbone for me. I’m currently finishing Meeting the Shadow.

Overall, I’m most interested in transformation. magic that changes you internally as much as externally.
