There is an interesting parallel between the Ankh and Hermetic philosophy of Life and Light…
And how we actually use this principle in ritual and magic wether we realize it or not,
1) Hermes asks the divine Pymander how the tortious and wise gain eternal life, Which Pymander replies, the reightous and wise gain eternal life by mastering Life and Light)
If you look at the Ankh in 2 parts it makes 3.
Union of Male and Female (Life/Love) and the top isn’t a hole but rather a receptacle for pure light to come through. The Ankh representing “Life and Light” mastery.
3) This is also mimicked in The Gospel of Thomas (To turn the Female, male and the Male, female) discipline over desire.

Embers turn to yellow flame, which when grown big enough blue is found in the middle.

And the Kingdom of Heaven as Yeshua said, is within.
We are the ones, That thanks to with the Spirit that inhabits our vessel , the Soul that resides over it and the Source of Creation that made it all come together to make it a reality.
We are All One, Not a Drop of the Ocean but the entire Ocean within a drop.
Or as it says in “The Sophia of Jesus Christ” we contain a drop of light not separate from the Source of Creation itself it remains in full view of the Pleroma from the Ogdoad.
Now you got the understanding and tools passed down from before recorded time.
