Hello!
My name is Amir, I am a 29 year old gay man who is from southern Michigan.
To give you a little background, I got into Tarot a little over 2 months ago. I am in recovery and have been branching out to deepen my spiritual awareness and spiritual program. Tarot has been a really good tool for me, and a great hobby for me as well.
Recently, I have ventured out into witchcraft and learning the different avenues and what area of the craft resonates most with me. I started with Wicca; I did not realize that was a nature based religion, I thought it was an overarching term for witchcraft which I soon discovered is not the case. Then I looked through different books and threads on Reddit to learn about different dogmatic practices.
I have landed on chaos magick/sigils/candle magic as what is most resonating with me now. I am reading about the Thoth tarot right now (Understanding Thoth), and have the Sigil Witchery book, as well as some PDFs of the "essential" chaos magick books that I have seen discussed online most; Condensed Chaos, Advanced Magick for Beginners, Six Ways, Hands on Chaos Magic.
I can be a little manic and scatter brained/obsessive when I get into a new interest, so I am going to use this forum to bounce my ideas and get some insight on this journey from people who are much more experienced than me.
