hey yall, i thought i’d scope this place out after coming across it while i was looking for a book.

anyhow, the name’s Reid Buckthorn. i’m a 23yo demonolator hailing from the Midwest, i’ve had about 8-9 years of experience in the occult; having been involved in it since i was 14. i sepcialise in both folk and ceremonial magic; my areas of talent include divination, invocation, evocation, baneful magic, and protection magic. i’m still trying to master dream and wealth magic. in terms of my path of Demonolatry, i say that i hail specifically from the Draconian Tradition.

pointless info: i’m a gay transgender male who is very active within my local LGBTQ+ community, i’m on the spectrum, and i happen to be an aspiring writer. i work closesly with the goddess Hecate as well as demons such as Lucifer, King Paimon, Leviathan, Belial, and Beelzebub. i also have a good relationship with the god Set.

it’s also good to see a fellow Draconian! one of my goals at the moment is getting a membership within the Temple Of Ascending Flame, for now though i’m perfectly content with being a solitary practicioner.

yessir! i’m reading a bit of Kelly’s stuff currently.
funny enough, my goal for writing is to work on a nonfiction occult book and a fiction novel; Gamigin is gonna have a field day with me.

Crowley is everywhere in western occult spaces honestly. i don’t think there’s any known western occult tradition that hasn’t been influenced by Crowley in any way or form.

He takes a lot of criticism, a lot of it well deserved. Still, his influence has been immense and at least some of the criticism comes off as ill-mannered.
