As a offer I liked homemade bread but I am not really good at it. Can you share your methods, recipes, experiences? Tips and tricks? And are other peeps offering homemade (decorated) bread also?

Follow the link and be sure to read the "Whole Article" there!
Hint: I would grab this BEFORE she decides to close up shop and it "disappears". Like Magic/k?
This recipe is a "Labor of Love" to make, any "spirits" you offer this to will not doubt your degree of "seriousness and sincerity"!

************************************************************************************************************************************************

Below is a staple of the "Red Meal" (Housle, Housel, Houzel - Your Choice). It's a fairly "generic" type of recipe for just
about any flavor of "Ye Olde Craeft", er... "Wiccecraeft". I LOVE this stuff!

Sabbat / Esbat Bread or Cakes:

1 1 ⁄4 cups boiling water
1 cup oats
1 ⁄2 cup butter
1 1 ⁄2 cups honey
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 3 ⁄4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
3 ⁄4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 ⁄4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 ⁄4 teaspoon ground ginger

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
In a suitable bowl, pour boiling water over the oats and butter.

Cover the bowl with a paper towel and let stand for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, mix together the honey, eggs, and vanilla in a separate container.

Next, add in the oats and butter mixture, flour, baking soda, salt, and spices.
Place the dough in a well-greased bread pan, or cookie sheet if making Cakes.
Put in the oven for approximately 30 to 40 minutes.

You're ready for "Cakes and Ale" or Bread or Cakes and (Red) Wine for the "Red Meal"!

NB - Of course you can (and probably will) adjust some of this to suit yourself?
There is a variation on this in Huson - 1970. This is Kelden - 2020.

75 grams of spelt
1 pinch of salt
1 packet of yeast
1 tablespoon of honey
1 unit of how many nuts and/or berries as you want
45 grams of hot water

Mix with a spoon and place on a tin (have some flour on the tin to prevent sticking)

Slightly wetten the top of your bread
Bake for 20 minutes at 200 Celsius
Remove from tin, wetten again
Bake for another 20 minutes on the grill in your oven (at 200 Celsius again)

I don't let it rest, no.
Thought of this, if you are intending it as an offering you could also make 1 little host. Can even apply a seal (make little punctures with a skewer to avoid rising)
1 teaspoon of flour
1 teaspoon of water
1 grain of salt

mix this with your hands, roll it into a small ball and press it flat into a disk
use it all just try to make it as flat and circular as you can
dust the bottom with a tiny bit of extra flour
use a fork to prick holes in it, to stop it from puffing up in the oven

(and then you might as well make a figure that covers most of the surface and somewhat resembles the Jerusalem cross)

bake on 200 degrees Celsius

(whole procedure, making & baking, takes less than 15 minutes)

You know, I took it for granted (my bad) that most folks would want to use these for offerings. both the ones I mentioned can be used for that of course. It's "always" good practice to understand what any group or individual spirit considers acceptable or what they like. If in doubt "ask" or divine to understand if it's appropriate! When we make these for ourselves, I "pig out"! I'm a spirit sojourning in "Middle Earth" too. ;)
