How can I discover who is guiding me?

I've been receiving many synchronicities lately, but they seem somewhat garbled, and point in a few different directions. At first I thought it was Michael, then my ancestors, now I think it might be Sophia. Is it likely to be all of the above? Is it just one who is using a variety a signs? Or am I being messed with? Or am I seeing what I want to see? How can I more conclusively determine who is sending these messages?
