No.
Those will both help in general, but you'll need actual magick to counter any magick you're concerned about, whether LHP or anything else.

Strictly speaking, the RHP/LHP dichotomy is about different styles of self-development, not about good v. evil. If you decide to put your trust in God… well, the guy hardly has a good track record there, does he? Practicing magic means taking measures pro-actively instead of leaving it all to the supposed benevolence of a higher being like religions do.

No idea what you mean by 'frequency'. Is it the same as 'vibration', the Kybalion thing? Sounds very NewAge to me.

If you're talking about LHP magic as in the propensity for LHP practitioners to utilize goetia and demonolatry then most of the time a strong faith can help with protection independently, however these spirits may use other people around you to get at you if they can't directly attack you. This can still cause chaos in your life.

If you're talking about black magic, as in curses or magic attacks on you, then its dependent on the mode of magic. If spirits are the main utilization then faith can protect you, if the practitioner is utilizing materials/sympathetic magic then it won't. Somebody adept at folk traditions that lean into herbalism and sympathetic magic can perform some pretty powerful black magic that gets around things like belief and faith, however the removal of this black magic almost always requires some type of faith healing.

If you feel like you're being attacked by somebody magically there is quite a few things you can do, faith and your own authority should suffice enough unless you are dealing with someone who is especially gifted at magic. In these cases there are lots of things you can do, home warding, apotropaic icons, mimics, servitors, energy traps... if you set up a few different protective measures you can counter black magic. The trick when doing this is having multiple things set up and if you are especially annoyed by it you can capture/bind whatever they're sending and use it against them.

What has worked for me to counter any baneful magick, intentional or otherwise, directed to me specifically, is to learn how to defend myself while unprotected. By allowing yourself to feel these attacks and observe without judging, reflect on how it feels and what emotions arise, learn about yourself while these attacks happen, because they can't really hurt you physically and mentally you have the power to let it affect you in any way.


This isn't easy, it requires to meditate constantly, practice presence and inward focus, observe your emotions and emotional reactions long enough to learn how to not react to them unconsciously, because the emotional body is the one that is the target of these attacks, if you learn to know your emotional body, than others can't use it to manipulate you psichologically, and baneful magick works by getting inside your head through emotional manipulation.

Later on, you can learn to protect yourself with Magick as well now that you don't really need it.
