"I have a few questions regarding the rituals in Living Spirits. I've read about its practices before, and it does seem very beginner-friendly. The ritual involves entities from the Four Directions, Olympian entities, and Christian elements.

However, it also got me thinking: if someone hasn't undergone the initiation or enlightenment rituals of these other specific systems, can they still channel the sacred power associated with them?"

I moved this into Book Discussions (because I assume that's what it's about)
Please give some more details so that people can understand better (like name of the author etc because "Living Spirits" is pretty vague)

"Thank you so much! I'm really sorry the translation software couldn't quite capture what I meant 🥹 I really appreciate your reminder.

The book is Living Spirits: A Guide to Magic in a World of Spirits by B.J. Swain."

Yes, most definitely. There are at least two ways:

Address these sacred powers using active language. Talk about what they are doing, instead of referring to them in culturally specific terms. Or maybe locate congruent motifs and archetypes within the individual's frame of reference. Or other ways too. :)

Living Spirits: A Guide to Magic in a World of Spirits by B.J. Swain

Maybe take a look at page 104? The author is encouraging the reader to explore the motifs and archetypes which resonate with the reader.

"Thanks so much for your help and the gentle reminder. I'm really sorry for using some ambiguous words earlier—I'll definitely be more mindful of my phrasing next time! 😿 I completely understand now, and I'll go check the materials right away."

I'm interested in the full PDF of ND Blackwood Sholomance been searching for a while .
"I'm so sorry, but the translation app didn't really give me a clear meaning, and I'm a bit lost on what's being said. If you're asking for an electronic version of the book, I'm afraid I can't provide it, as I've been reading a Chinese fan translation. 🙏"
