So, it's my question: how can I check if I was cursed? What practices do you recommend? Also, if you have examples related to this topic, like you were cursed, what it was like, how you managed to find that out, and what you did next?

Curses of course do happen, but intentionally directed curses are not super common. Why do you think you may be cursed?

Hi Xul! Imprecatoria is not my speciality, but, If you feel you're under the effect of a curse, you could use the same method people use when they believe they have the "evil eye" on them. Paying attention to the way living things degenerate in your presence (Fruits, plants, etc.) Could also give you a hint. Cheers!

This is definitely a good indicator. I like to watch for a few other signs as well, like ridiculously bad luck for a prolonged amount of time, Nightmares especially repeated of repeated themes, bad smells where none should exist, the feeling of being watched with negative vibes like anxiety, etc.

This isn't an exhaustive list of course but good things to look for as indicators.

From an astrological perspective, Saturn in a bad humor can make us feel like we are indeed cursed. So, we should never forget to take a look at sky to know what's going on. Or whatever other "mancy" art we trust.

I agree with your point that if someone is cursed, they wouldn't really wonder if they were. Maybe if it is early on? But personally, I wouldn't call anything that is psychological a curse. Unless the curse is designed to have a psychological effect of course, like drive someone crazy etc. IMO a curse produces a change/effect in the person even if they don't know about it (and preferably they wouldn't).

To answer your questions. You can check if you are cursed with divination. I recommend pendulum and tarot. I've been cursed many times, symptoms of getting hit have included things such as pounding heart, tachycardia, anxiety, extreme weakness and fatigue, extreme nausea, brief heart stoppages, dead batteries, sudden storms. I've found out by doing divination, and breaking or reversing the curse, and energy cleansing.

However, I wouldn't actually advise you to do any of this. If you are so new to magick that you are asking strangers on the internet what to do, you don't have the skills to handle this yourself. By all means learn divination and curse breaking, but for the future. Right now you need to get a reading by a professional, and if a curse is present, a good professional to break it. You need the reading whether a curse is present or not, to set your mind at ease, because if you think you may be cursed, your subconcious mind can manifest a curse, and the result will be the same.

You also need a daily practice of energy cleansing, and some kind of protection magick, as does everyone.

And don't listen to anyone who tries to tell you that you are not cursed, and it's just psychological. They don't know a thing about baneful magick.

So, I quickly think of the oil method we use in Italy for the evil eye, which also allows you to remove it.
And egg divination is also very powerful, but I've only done it once.
If you have a particular relationship with a divination method (i.e., the one you use most and have a closer connection with), use that, perhaps double-checking by asking a friend for a divination.

The method i know about it; consist in taking an egg, rubbing it against your body and every corner of it, cracking the egg in a tall and transparent recipient and then, interpreting the shapes forming at the bottom. Ovomancy is a thing after all. Im curious about your method!

The reason i say a lot of it is psychological is because a lot of curses work better if the victim knows they are cursed. Magick is the act of making the internal or external environment conform with the will, doesnt matter how. So yes, if you did something psychologically to someone that could be a curse in itself. I did not intend to mean all curses are psychological, but from my experience they are most commonly because that is the easiest kind to throw at someone.
I avoid cursing people, but that does not mean i dont have the ability to.

This is exactly the method I used; I tried it once while studying with a Russian medium.
To be more precise, in my case, the egg is rubbed with counterclockwise circular motions, with the intent of absorbing (informations) and/or removing (evil eye).
I don't know where this type of divination originates, but after looking around online, I noticed it's done pretty much the same way everywhere.

I think that @Hu96ie and @Mannimarco points are valid, but I usually just follow into the camp that if you suspect someone is doing something to you then you would just do a reversal of whatever is afflicting you and let the reversal/cursebreaker take care of it. Usually if it is something complicated or something big it can also be dealt with using the reversal, it's just a personal curiosity if you want to cut up the curse and see it from the inside to see what's up with it then you can definitely go with tarot, geomancy, horary, etc to look deeper into it. From Draja's True Magic he mentions the following:

Also overall sometime somethings are "less than a curse" but bigger than normal living, maybe check into uncrossing and cleansing rituals to remove the bad luck or suspected curse. Mary Undoer of Knots prayer, Hyssop bath, cleansing with dragon blood incense, there's so many way you can go about it.
