I absolutely see what you’re saying but if I stop believing in curses wouldn’t I also have to stop believing energy healing/healing miracles are real? Maybe the people in power also have an army of people praying for them or strong spirit allies backing them up? Or maybe it’s harder to get a link to them? Idk
I also toyed with the idea that governments have psi spies that are powerful enough to protect them. I also toyed with the idea that these powerful people are part of the larger destiny and are protected by things like fate. It is very difficult when you actually see banal future events because in order for any future event to actually happen, it is either already in play, and is fate or destiny, or we are puppets on a stage repeating something that already happened, or... etc. It can really mess with our linear time brains.
We have real evidence of energy healing, in science labs and experiments. And yes, I do think if we can actually heal, we can also harm. But, I also believe there is always a price. Just like the saying 'you are what you eat', you are likely also what you channel or connect with. Like the old Earth practice where things come back threefold.
A little off-topic perhaps, but watching and studying the more recent events in healing, like Prof. Bengston's/Moga's energy healing for cancer that has been injected into mice, I noted that this particular method appears to only be working on a specific cancer, or a specific type of cancer.
I also saw that the late Sean Harribance was able to do some interesting things with cancer. I also followed the distant intent studies of healers, the only success in one study was from the long-term practicing instructors/teachers, and all the students failed.
Following the Reiki studies, most of the weekend seminar folks can't produce anything of value. Yet they are still allowed to charge money for waving hands around and acting like they can. We obviously need better regulations and testing to allow this to be paid for by health insurance, like it currently is in many places. Those Reiki practitioners who can, can also move a compass needle repeatedly, produce magnetic fields that are pretty awesome, and many can produce the same type of electromagnetic chirp wave that Bengston and Moga measured and noticed during successful mouse healing sessions. The electromagnetic chirp wave should certainly be studied further to see what is generating it and why.
Bengston has continued with these studies, and discovered that they can channel this energy into cotton balls, and these cotton balls then heal the cancer in these mice as well, producing a foundation for talismanic magic that is pretty solid. So this energy can be transferred to objects as well.
I'm not a fan of only allowing the Catholic church to decide what is or isn't a miracle, but they do have a pretty rigorous set of requirements that appears to be valid.
All of these are very interesting areas that deserve much more study and attention, in particular because they can and do alleviate suffering and supply a very legitimate use of whatever energies they are.
I doubt that these individual people are the actual cause of the healing, or have these powers within their own sphere, I do think they can become vessels or conduits to help direct or guide certain energies. There is also never any guarantee that what they do will work, which again may be due to whatever forces are involved in plans, or destiny, or fate.
Alone that we can influence this energy and guide it should be an amazing discovery.
The bottom line is that the weekend seminar, or limited practices, do not always supply access. We always end up with skilled people that can, and a lot of wishful folks that believe they can, but actually can't.
So, it is never a given that any practice will supply an automatic return for your efforts, and it is also now obvious that simply believing in it, or believing you can, will supply any guarantee of success. Placebo is even turning out to be something different than science thought.
There was a very interesting study on placebos that showed a matching number of improvements between placebo patients and the real medicine patients, even when the scientists and patients were not aware of both groups. So the more the patients receiving the real medicine improved, the more the placebo group improved, even when they are unaware of each other. So it is a very confusing type of energy. Prof. Bengston calls it 'information energy' because it appears to be instructions or similar. But the bottom line to that is that it may not have anything to do with just believing in the fake pill. There is a real connection happening to other healing energies attracted to the entire process.
We again end up with skilled practitioners as the key ingredient, and not necessarily what it is they are practicing. And likely with energies being channeled and directed, but not owned or personal power. Some of this appears to have guardrails that are more fixed/permanent, and won't allow certain deviations or changes, likely because certain things are so fixed in destiny.
