Right after Covid lockdown ended, I decided to embark on a wealth magick operation and to keep going until something happened. I used an amped up ritual for Nitika, the so-called Genius of Wealth according to NAP. However, according to Levi, Nitika is the Genius of Gemstones. Whatever. One month after starting the ritual, I received an unexpected phone call informing me that I would be receiving nearly a quarter of a million dollars from an unexpected source. However, I set a strict criteria for myself. The wealth magick operation would not be counted as “complete” until the money actually landed in my bank account. So I ended up continuing with the Nitika operation for about one year until the money received. What makes this story absolutely hilarious is that respected experts such as Frater Acher believe that Eliphas Levi may have largely invented the Genii of the Hours based off The Nuctemeron. I believe Frater Acher may actually be right – which makes this story even weirder and funnier. Lastly, this story has a sting in its tale. The money, while a blessing on the one hand, has also brought a series of unexpected legal problems. I suspect it is somehow spiritually tainted because of the manner in which I acquired it. There are plenty of Muggles who are not spiritually inclined and rather stupid who are becoming millionaires through various means. So that raises the question - is magick really the answer?
