I'm a seasonal haunt actor, so most of my nights for the past few weeks have run very late. I need to get back into dream journaling. I found it really helped sharpen my dreams. Thus, from my lack of it, I've found my dreams are more easily forgotten. (Additionally, after those very late nights where I'm still hyped on caffeine and energy, I have to consume cannabis in some form to be able to sleep properly. I also can't listen to any sort of relaxing noise, it just drones on and makes me anxious, so I have to throw on whatever else. For a while it was specifically My Babysitter's a Vampire, then it was youtubers I like, but lately it's been spooky podcasts... and if I smoke, I like to drink. Nothing big. Just helps fuzz up the edges, which in turn leads to funky sleep.)

It could be just a natural ebb and flow. It could be astrology related (which is another thing I've been diving into lately). Perhaps it's stress or you're being affected by low/high pressure systems.

I will say I think I've only experienced a few fully lucid dreams. I'm a sucker for a good storyline. I recall one dream that I realized I was dreaming, but I wanted to see where things would go, so I just kept letting it play out. There was once that I tried to forcefully induce lucidity. It worked, for about three in-dream seconds, but my eyelids felt so heavy during it that I just fell back into the dream as it wanted to play out.

TLDR: sooo many factors could influence it.
