To make money with magic you have to attack it from multiple points.
The most basic are Banishment and Attraction.

There are things that you have to get rid of from both you and your environment.
There are things that you need to attract to yourself and your environment
(Can be much more complex than this)

Banishments
  • Fear, Fear of karma. You can’t have something you fear; you will not get karma from making money especially when it isn’t hurting others.
  • not deserving the money, this type of thinking hurts you because you won’t take opportunities when they come.
  • Unfair advantage, so what you have an unfair advantage the world is unfair and you live in the world so get over it.
  • Feeling like you need to have some moral cause for the money (it’s okay to just want more money bro)
These things restrict the flow of money towards you

Attractions
  • Connections, when you have more connections there are more chances to get “Lucky”.
  • Flow, keep the flow of money coming towards you with both mundane work and magical work.
  • Stability, having a stable source of income helps to keep you afloat while you work on your side business.
  • Quick cash, (it’s okay to just want some quick cash bro)
  • Who doesn't want to be lucky, it helps more than you might thinks
  • Long term prosperity

Knowing what you actually want

Do you want to make an extra 10,000 a year or do you want millions?
Do you want to get a promotion or start a new business?
Do you want luxury or do you want to be comfortable?

Don’t delude yourself though, it’s okay to want money just cuz.
It’s okay to have dreams of luxury, you don’t have to justify having money with some moral cause. You do what you want with your money just be honest with yourself.
Spirits don’t like it when you lie to them about why you want the money.

Let’s start with some banishments
Some of these might be quick some might be long term issues that you have to work through.
You don’t have to banish every bad trait before you can start making money otherwise you will never start.
Have a journal and write down certain issues or character traits you think could be holding you down (be honest no one is looking in that but you)
Start with one and while you do that do some attraction work as well (The fun part)
Over time you will be banishing and breaking through blockages while opening up your roads and drawing in the money/wealth.
Maybe get a therapist lol
  • Get rid of your fear of money
  • Get rid of you feeling like you don't deserve it
  • stop lying to yourself about why you want it, don't feel the need for there to be some good moral reason. If you do have one that's okay too
  • Get rid of your fear of karma because you are making money using magic, it's not like the money is falling from the sky you still have to work.

Good way to go about doing Attractions
  • Cleansing negative energies
  • Breaking through blockages
  • Open up your roads
  • Quick cash to get some momentum (if you are running a business a quick boost of customers to get things going)
  • Long term Prosperity working to keep the machine well-greased
  • Monthly, Bi-Weekly or even Weekly Road openers to keep the machine going.
Quick Example: you need your business to make more money, you make the business more efficient or more attractive to customers or reduce cost at the same time you ask a spirit to enhance your efforts and bring it some more customers. Not too complicated and very simple over time you will find your own way of doing things.

Spirits and how they can help

There are many types of spirits out there and we could go on forever but here are the main points

Don’t need 20 different spirits to help you make money,
Don’t limit yourself to just one either, spirits have specialties be smart about it
They won’t do everything for you, put in some work
Be careful who you pick to help you, Spirit of Death and Decay is the best choice here
The more you work with a spirit the more they usually can do for you so build that relationship and give them offerings!

Well Known Money/Wealth spirits
  • Clauneck (Demon)
  • Nitika (Genius of the 12 hours)
  • Jupiter (planetary force)
  • OCH (Olympic Spirit)
  • Bethor (Olympic spirit)
  • Elubatel (Omnipotence angel)
  • Many more (Drop some in the chat)

There is a lot i missed but Drop some advice or personal experience to help everyone.
There are some spirits that i missed that may help with wealth so if you have something please share it with us.

I didn't mention angels, don't know any angels related to money right now.

This is some really precious advice :).

Now, when it comes to connections, I would just want to add this: it is important what connections does the practitioner have. Some people do mean well, but others really don't and sometimes it is very hard to discern. One may have connections with someone who is rich in terms of hundreds if not millions, but if that money is undeclared to tax or there is other crime involving it well... that would be problematic.

Some last things I would add is to also have realistic expectations when it comes to money. You should never ever expect that you will win millions of dollars overnight, first and foremost. People who usually claim this are scammers at best. There is also the importance of choosing the correct elemental energy of elements that best correspond with the money work you need (e.g.: Want to buy real estate, obtain physical money, and have anything related to earning money physically / off-line, choose the Earth element; if your work is related to something online like earning money from e-commerce, online marketing of products (especially digital downloads), anything related to wealth on the Internet and the online, use the Air element).

For angels that are related to money I can mention:

1. Archangel Sachiel
2. Archangel Nemamiah
3. Veualiah (astrological significance of prosperity)
4. Barachiel
5. Ariel
6. Uriel
7. Zadkiel

For other spirits that are related to money I can add:

1. Lakshmi (has also mantra associated with the same name)
2. Kubera (Divine treasurer, king of semi-divine Yakshas, Guardian of Earth's Riches)
3. Ganesha (Remover of Obstacles, frequently invoked alongside Lakshmi for new business ventures and overall financial success)
4. Caishen (popular Chinese Wealth God, featured in shops and homes especially during the New Lunar Year)
5. Plutus (primordial Greek God of wealth and agricultural abundance)
6. Hermes (Messenger God as well as Patron of Merchants, Trade, Business, Commerce and Financial Gain)
7. Juno Moneta (Roman Epithet for Juno. Her first temple (under this epithet) housed the first mint, giving the origin to both "mint" and "money" words)
8. Argentinus and Aescolanus (Minor Roman Gods specifically governing silver and copper money)
9. Daikokuten (One of the Seven Lucky Gods in the Japanese pantheon, representing wealth, commerce, trade).
10. Venus (Roman Goddess of Beauty, Pleasure, Sensuality, can also be invoked for money related purposes). In the context of money, she is associated with attracting luxury, valuable resources as well as financial flow rather than hard labor or debt management
12. Saturn (Roman God of Time, Discipline, Harvest). Can be invoked for long-term financial structure, building sustainable wealth and disciplined saving.

You're welcome!

When it comes to information about the elementals, well, it's more of a personal thing I used after reading Money Magick by Frater U∴D∴. Since the book talks about upgrading magick for the modern era using the realm of Air (fluid, mercurial current of exchange), I thought to sort of "upgrade" the system using the Earth element for what is needed for physical wealth. Needless to say, it brought the desired success as I was more calculated when going to opt for rent, I was more calculated in managing my finances (avoid overspending, or greed (Saturnian qualities of Discipline tied to Earth element)). So, it is more of a personal upgrade that I did but it can be applied.

One should take in account the Elemental Properties:

1. Air - Traditionally linked to the intellect, mind and communications and digital / internet networks in cyber-magick.
2. Earth - Universally tied to physical money, tangible assets, stability, and material manifestation in classical grimmoires, Wicca, Tarot (Pentacles / Coins suit of cards).

Now, for the Angels I can recommend the Heptameron for Archangel Sachiel, Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Henrich Cornelius Agrippa (foundational Renaissance text detailing celestial hierarchies, planetary associations, and the archangels like Uriel and Zadkiel), The 72 Angels of Magadah / The Shemhamphorash (great for understanding the ruled hours of guardian entities like Nemamiah, Veualiah, etc. Information is to be found in the Greater Key of Solomon), The Book of Enoch (1 Ethiopic Enoch) (ancient apocalyptic text that serves as the primary source for the archangel Uriel and contextualizes high-ranking celestial princes), The 72 Angels of Magick by Damon Brand (contains detailed instructions on practical evocation, daily governance and petitioning specific spirits for the Shemhamphorash (including Nemamiah and Veualiah) safely).

For other deities like Venus, Saturn one may check:

Three Books of Occult Philosophy (particularly Book II) as it details the planetary spirits, natural magic, and the virtues of Venus.
Picatrix (Warnock and Greer) (Books I and II). Ancient Grimoire with rituals, images and prayers dedicated to the planetary spirit of Venus.
The Seven Spheres by Rufus Opus: Contains a practical guide to working directly with planetary forces, including strict operations for Saturn.
The Witch's Coin by Christopher Penczak
Magickal Riches: Ancient Secrets of Wealth and Abundance by Dr. Luciana Ferreira
Saturn and Wealth: Vedic Astrology by Saket Shah

For other spirits that are related to money I can add:

Copy pasted this one : Dzambala (also spelled Jambhala) is the revered Buddhist deity of wealth, prosperity, and abundance in Tibetan Buddhism
There are some interesting mantras to this, the black and yellow Dzambala mantras. There are more but the yellow and black seemed to be very nice hmm...

All of these are very helpful associations to consider when making a specific money-prosperity altar, as recommended in Jason Miller's books — mostly a blue box with Jupiterian spirits inside, anointed with money-drawing oil. Then set aside a place for a dedicated altar where, over time, you add other symbols and associations. The Laughing Buddha, Budai or Hotei is another good one

This is from my personal experience, but as someone who works from home, having the money altar right next to where I work, or even on the same table creates an interesting resonance.

Love the advice that is being given here and framing the approach in terms of banishment / attraction is a nice mental framework to approach the strategy of wealth / money magick. I would lake to add a little more on this by expanding further on the banishment side that also enhances the attraction side.

I recently started reading a book called "The Abundance Key" by a guy named Erwin Pitsch and this book ties very nicely into the Bardon community. But its main advice is actually extremely applicable to the personal side of wealth magick. A lot of what is talked about for the "banishment" side is also quite relevant to this. When we think of wealth magick, we usually jump the gun and go immediately to the attraction side of things by deploying magick to attract money to us. But then the internal side, where we have traits / characteristics inside of us that sabotage our ability to attract and receive wealth for various reasons. This is the banishment side that @Jade mentioned in her opening post.

What I like from "The Abundance Key" is that it expands even more on the role of our internal world in attracting wealth and money to us. Pitsch states that it is not just our limiting character traits that erode our ability to attract wealth, but also the trauma that is stored in our body, mind, and soul. Part of the development of such negative character traits can be sourced from the traumas that we undergo at various points in our lives, but it goes further than that. The trauma and their associated damage can cause the different parts of us (e.g. mind, body, soul) to misalign with each other and ultimately one part can sabotage another part of us. For example, if we state in our mind that we want to get rich, but our soul / emotions are hung up on moral issues on money while our body is stuck in a scarcity induced panic state, then this misalignment can form a major blockage in our ability to attract wealth through magick.

In other words, the subconscious effects of trauma within the physical body and the emotional world can have a large impact on our wealth magick. In addition to getting over our negative traits that limit us in money magick, we also need to find ways to address the damages that different parts of ourselves accrue over the traumas from living life. The book suggests using somatic release techniques, elemental balancing, and meditative approaches in order to deal with physical, emotional, and mental parts of these damages. Once the different parts of ourselves are healed and harmonised, we become much more aligned with the external universe to receive wealth.

The important part to note here is that this adds a much deeper understanding to the "banishment" side brought up in the opening post. Even more than getting over our internal hangups on money, we need to fully embrace our own self-healing and internal balancing in order to truly accept the different forms of wealth that reality can bring us. To me, this is pretty profound and adds an incentive for us to promote our own healing when trying to pursue wealth. When you consider what real physical wealth can do to a person sometimes, this level of healing and self-awareness becomes even more important in the pursuit of wealth.

So this is just my additional take on what has already been mentioned. I always think that healing trauma and internal damage is a noble pursuit regardless of what the end goal is, but this perspective frames it in a pretty powerful way. Even outside of the techniques in this book, using a combination of mundane methods (e.g. somatic therapy, talk therapy) and spiritual / magical methods (e.g. internal alchemy, the help of spirits) to promote our own healing is a great way to do the "banishment" side.
