I suspect if there were a very particular memory of yourself you wished to erase or undo, first of all set the intention to do so. I recommend targeting a particular memory, and not just a vague collection of memories, because the latter is not a very precise result, and could have unintended consequences that achieve the goal (wiping out many various memories of you) in a way you may not desire (concussive trauma, for example).
I imagine you don't wish physical harm on this individual in question, so it's important you define the end result very clearly to ensure the individual isn't harmed by whatever route the magic uses to manifest. Altering other people's internal lives directly is going to get messy no matter how you slice it, so I'd be extra cautious.
I don't know the motives for what you're trying to do, but I have done something adjacent that, as far as I am aware, was successful. Before my occult journey started, I did something in a fit of passion that would've landed me in jail (I was the only person actually hurt), and someone took pictures which would've been enough evidence to convict. By some miracle, that individual chose not to press charges and let me off scot free. After my occult path began though, I thought it would behoove me to at least cover my ass should that somebody change their mind in future, and so I set an intention that all documented evidence of the crime be lost or destroyed. "Documented" is an important word here, because there are technically lots of things that can count as evidence of a perceived act, and I very definitely didn't want to destroy literally everything that could count. Lawyer-ing up your intentions is important lest you inadvertently make the Genie's Wish and get exactly what you wished for, which isn't necessarily what you actually wanted.
