Well if I'm a mirror of the world and have a brain injury, what does that mean of humanity?
Are everyone brain retarded here or what?

I've been pondering a response for a few days now.

I feel like your question would read better if you had asked; Is everyone as opposed to "Are everyone"...

That bit out of the way...

I definitely feel that the world mirrors my inner turmoil, and it's distressing, especially with the chaos that is occuring on the daily, worldwide, to maintain a sense of equilibrium, and an inner calm.

I spend most of my time these days working to be the difference for my family, my friends, and my community, and try to leave the bigger thoughts about the world on the back-burner.

Hence my title, "speculum". In ancient paganism, the mirror has major meaning. Curved or concave mirrors can distort perception. Millions of people trip over, due to a distorted perception of what is right or just. Very often they get carried away by the current of majority perception. Especially problematic are the cult leaders who get followed by a majority. With so many followers how can they be wrong? Yet, they are, so often. If the mirror is concave, what you see in it falls short of correct perception.
