This brought to mind restless thoughts about the different methods of calculation, my own current method and how unsatisfactory they all are. Even though they all have good reasoning within themselves which integrates them smoothly relative to their larger systems, and work well enough.
In an inspired state from new found love while glancing at the sun direction data line on timeanddate.com I've started using 15° divisions of the circle starting at solar midnight. Still calculating the day with 28 x 13 + 1. 13 corresponding with a 14 sphere Tree flow that moves between Sgr A* to Luna 28 times + one Earth Day for 365 to navigate these yearly energies. And works for calculating hours in polar regions, but that diving could be in a possible thread on the subject.

I love it, Kepler. With magic, nothing should be sacred for too long, because the only inevitablity in life is change. Even the ToL needs to evolve according to its users' needs and evolving worldviews. You're taking this in an interesting direction, and I look forward to reading more as you flesh it out.
