Originally this Oracle had been discovered in one of the Royal tombs of Egypt during a French military expedition of 1801. The emperor ordered the manuscript to be translated by a famous German scholar and antiquarian. From that time onwards the Oracle remained one of Napoleon's most treasured possessions. He consulted it on many occasions and it is said to have "formed a stimulus to his most speculative and most successful enterprises." It's a kind of oracle that is remarkably pragmatic and direct.
The oracle is quite easy to use
Pick up your question from the oracle.
Now proceed to make vertical lines
Make a series of five lines, try to do it without counting, simply let the pen be the guide. Add as many lines as desired, once you sense an urge to stop then stop.
The result will look like that, five-set of vertical lines.
ııııııııııııı 13 odd *
ıııııııııııııııı 16 even **
ıııııııııı 10 even **
ııııııııııııııııııı 19 odd *
ıııııııı 8 even **
count the vertical lines and then if it’s an odd number, it’s one dot. For even numbers, it's two dots. This is the symbol for your question.

Once the symbol is found, use the key in the oracle and trace it down from the exact letter. There you will find letters (or lines etc..) exactly at the intersection of your symbol and your question number. Say for example the intersection reads as P.. Then go to page P. You will simply refer to the corresponding letter page and once again use your symbol to see what the oracle says.
On page "P " find your symbol once again and you will see the answer next to it. (you may need to rotate your symbol clockwise 90 degrees, as the symbols on the key page are horizontal )
Our example should look like as below for the horizontal symbols.
That book is easy to use and a preferred tool of divination.
Important: don’t ask the Book Of Fate the same question twice within any calendar month, and ideally, don’t ask it more than one question per day about anything.
You may and begin to use the oracle
