Hi everyone, I am interested in practical magic and studying the effects of belief. I am an academic researcher and trying to find out how this all fits together even with the contradictions between magical systems.

On one hand magic makes sense to me, and on the other hand its so far out there and could just be a shared delusion or placebo (which may also make it work anyways?)

I'll be very respectful and really check out everything available on the topic
