Book Discussion Result magic books

I know a few titles on result magic, but I haven't practiced it because I focused on other esoteric courses that are not result oriented. Are there any among you who have actually followed books and obtained real results ? (material stuff)

You could do a LOT worse than giving Scott Michael Stenwick's 3 volume series on the Enochian systems (all 3 of them, one per volume).
They all work - so pick a system, and give it a whirl - but be prepared to put in some serious work.

"Material stuff" is pretty vague, let's narrow our focus here a bit. What kind of results are you looking for and for what "material stuff" is it that you are after? Are you looking for results just to prove to yourself magic works, or do you you have a specific result that you want or need?

The answers to these questions will help set an intention. From there we can narrow down a book or two that might get you where you need to go.

I even forgot that I wrote this thread in September. Well, I want more perspective on whether you tried a book to gain material things and if it worked or backfired. It's really a general question.

My two cents is that elemental magic is probably the easiest kind of results magic. That's because the meanings and uses of the elements are very clear from the symbolism of the four tarot suits. For example, you might invoke Earth to manifest wealth, Air to help you pass an exam, Fire for inspiration, to become more assertive, etc., and Water to help you control your emotions or grow in worthiness to receive love. My experience with elemental magic is that it works very quickly, but that the elements are quite fickle, meaning that you will need to repeat the ritual periodically to avoid the magic fizzling out.
I just broke up with my ex a bit under a month ago and have used Water elemental magic in order to become more worthy in my heart to receive love. I have never felt more at peace with myself while single, and I feel much more relaxed and confident now when I talk to girls. In particular I think the Water elemental work has helped me remain balanced and avoid being 'desperate' or developing 'oneitis' with any of the girls.

I would also recommend the 72 angels of the Shem haMephoresh. Gallery of Magick has an excellent grimoire, The 72 Angels of Magick, that provides a very effective ritual for summoning any of the 72 angels. I worked with one of those angels (Elemiah) to help recover from my breakup in addition to the water ritual I mentioned above. Obviously both Elemiah and my work with elemental Water have contributed to my positive feelings despite being single. Another success story with the Shem angels would be my work with the angel Eladiah, who, among other things, healed a heel spur I have had for months and is currently in the process of healing a psoriasis/dandruff condition I have been struggling with for years.
