They say that David Lynch changed TV shows forever, but the greatest disservice to his works would be to regard them simply as curious or eccentric, or even look at them as some art objects that invoke emotions and nothing more.
Although David Lynch was an artist in and beyond filmmaking, I have no doubt that he also had specific things to say with his art. Things that people would fail to recognise again, and again, and again... I want to share some analysis of Twin Peaks series I liked, that may actually explain what Lynch meant with it. There could be more to it, or the analysis could be completely off, but it sure makes sense to me. I also feel David Lynch message in Twin Peaks is relevant to all in the occult in this time when it is made into another soulless industry, just like TV shows in Lynches time. Sit through this analysis even if you didn't watch Twin Peaks, it's worth it. And I think it is one of the best ways to remember the author, by making effort to understand his message, not by making a statue, you know.
