Good-wheneveritis to you !
I am St. Awen of the High-Belows, Certified pope of Eris’ House.
I recently stumbled upon a book called « Principia Discordia »
Calling it a book might be a bit much, fnord, it was a bunch of printed sheets of paper pickled together, laying forgotten on a table inside an empty study room.
Maybe intentional, Main’tbe.

I don’t believe in Goddess. But the chaos… It’s another story.
So I looked up chaos. And found chaos magic. And a subreddit.
And then, Archtraitor Bluefluke’s field manual.

So now I’m hooked and want to learn more.
I am. A french person. (Don’t take offense) Just a guy.
And nineteen years far in this long dream.

Barely a novice.

Yet I know that I don’t know much about all there is to know because I just finished a single book. And my head is already messed up.

Nice to meet y’all.

Thats like a Priest saying he just found the Bible .

Welcome! For Chaos Magic, Peter Carroll's works Liber Null and Psychonaut are the classic introduction - you can find them both in the Library. I also recommend (also in the Library) Alan Chapman's "Advanced Magic for Beginners"

It is the other way 'round, I found the book, read it, and from the moment I turned the last page.
I was a pope.
I even have a card.

I obviously wasn't even discordian before touching the book, how could I then be a pope of Eris' House.

Thanks for the recommandations, I will be sure to take a look at theses. There are so many books I had no idea existed. Not only books too, philosophies, secrets orders, freemasonry, thelema, the golden dawn, covents, a whole lot of practices, just a bit of reading already put me in a :

"Wow"
...

I expected dust to be behind the curtain, but I was surprised that it was stardust rather than drawerdust.

He bought the obscure 'religion' into pop culture . Not only did he incorporate it into wild novels

< Introduced by Israel Regardie !

'' In the early 1960s, two friends called Greg Hill and Kerry Wendell Thornley created a semi-serious joke religion called Discordianism. While all other religions are founded on the idea of an ultimate Cosmic Order, Hill and Thornley thought there is just as much evidence to suggest Cosmic Disorder. ... '' ;

Oh so he's the author of Illuminatus! I hear of theses books for a while now.
Maybe I'll give it a read, but I have so much material to go through already that It might be in a while.
And yeah, the story of Malaclypse the Younger and Lord Omar Keynes Ravenhurst, I love theses kind of names so much by the way.

Thanks a lot for the recommandations, I'll take a look at all of thoses... When I'm done with the rest of my to-read list XD

I would suggest the ones like Prometheus Rising over the 'fantastic self-indulgent novels' .

is a seminal work by Robert Anton Wilson that serves as a practical guidebook for "reprogramming" the human mind. The book is heavily influenced by Timothy Leary's 8-Circuit Model of Consciousness and blends psychology, mysticism, and sociobiology.

Core Concepts
  • The Eight Circuits: Wilson explores how different parts of the brain are "imprinted" at various stages of life—ranging from basic survival and emotional territoriality to higher-level linguistic and spiritual functions.
  • Reality Tunnels: A central theme is the idea that we do not see the world as it is, but through "reality tunnels" formed by our upbringing, culture, and biological imprints. The book aims to help readers break free of these restricted viewpoints.
  • Exercises: Unlike a standard philosophy book, every chapter ends with practical exercises—such as visualizing oneself as a different person or practicing specific breathing techniques—designed to let you experiment with your own consciousness
