[Tutorial] Something i wished i have learned earlier

Informative post.
I have noticed beginners often come into occult practices thinking they are genie lamps … if you put a request, do some mental operations, rub it in the right way it will spit out a miraculous result on the other side.

I for sure was in that group when i first came into this.

I would often see experienced practitioners talking about means of manifestation or the path of least resistance and shrug it off: because for me that was taking away the fancy possibilities i saw when i came to this.

“If i wanted to pick low hanging fruits and painfully work my way up while i build the stairs step by step i wouldn’t have got into summoning damons or angels” - i would often think.

From my own experience: they were right.

I think there’s nothing more powerful for a beginner practitioner than to come to this realization earlier on and i wished i have adopted this notion before performing the very first ritual, so i am going to share how i see it today and that perhaps might help beginners in some shape or form:

I think a good analogy is imagining possibility as a web of connected nodes that are always placed in specific coordinations (coordination here means a group of nodes that are interconnected):

1- Each node is a configuration of reality that exercises pressure to create local order, while the same pressure expands the overall probability in outside systems which often manifest as chaos i.e “entropy” or simply: more nodes.

2- Think of these nodes as energy infused individual points that configure themselves naturally in groups (this is your immediate sphere of influence)… these coordinations are sturdy, stubborn and they have high energetic affinity in their highways.

3- To move from a node to another one takes energy: one step way? Easy. A couple hundred? Still in the neighborhood. A entire coordination? Suddenly you are running a marathon and the fuel is not fueling.

4- The path of least resistance and means of manifestation are approaches that take these kinds of relationships and turn them into a way to strategize magick:

Path of least resistance: how few steps can i take to go from coordination A to B efficiently? It’s also used to explain how magick results would often flow efficiently into your life, often in ways that feel ordinary in retrospect.

Means of manifestation: how much energy would this jump require and do i have the capability to muster such energy?

A illustrative example: someone that lives in silicon valley and performs a ritual to meet a talented programmer will have higher means of manifestation compared to someone leaving in rural Tibet, and in this context the path of least resistance might just mean going out to a few conferences and wait.

This is particularly important for beginners because they have poor momentum: meaning they are not moving through the nodes efficiently just yet. Or they have poor placement relative to the coordination they want: they want to complete overhaul their lifes (and themselves) overnight.

A good approach therefore is to aim for things that are just out of reach enough to warrant a ritual but not so out of reach to warrant a miracle, your sphere of influence will grow as you grow but having this kind of discernment is also a skill you can begin build earlier on… my own experience has also shown that the better you strike this balance the easier the results flow naturally in your life.
