I know that in Book Share there is a brilliant thread where a member compiled a zip file of books on the Black Madonna (thanks!) I just wanted to share an upcoming (2027) devotional I just stumbled upon. The foreword is by Judika Iles, which I take as a good thing.

Yes, I've heard about it, but I haven't read it yet. It caught my eye when I came across it.
A devotional on the Black Madonna from a folk witch perspective sounds very interesting, given the many ways she can be seen as Queen of Heaven, Mistress of the World, or Empress of Hell.
And having an introduction by Judika Illes is certainly a welcome bonus.
I'll be curious to get a version when it's released in 2027. Thanks for sharing it!

Idk if you've read it, but the Little Office of Our Lady, Empress of Hell by Rev Y. McGlinchy is a modern devotional worth a look. I've found parts of it useful in spirit work with Her.

I haven't read the Little Office yet, but I'll have a look at it.
It's interesting to recall that Tim Wallace-Murphy's The Enigma of the Freemasons mentions the Black Madonna related to some of the book's mystical and esoteric ideas. In fact, it's what led me to explore the different aspects connected to her.
In that light, the devotional about the Empress of Hell is quite interesting. I appreciate you pointing me to it.

Thanks! I also read – The Enigma of the Knights Templar, written by Marilyn Hopkins.
In fact, I’ve read them one after another with Tim Wallace-Murphy's The Enigma of the Freemasons. Some really great books!

Here's one site which lists various Black Madonnas around the world, from Cymru to South America. She has many icons and statues, ancient and modern.

Thank you for putting me onto the "Enigma" book. It, along with its Knights Templar counterpart, is now in the Book Shares.

Both volumes were enjoyable to read, I remember.
They had images and old manuscripts printed on high-quality paper, and they were about the size of an atlas.
The one about Freemasonry gave you an idea of the origins of Freemasonry, from those from the Middle Ages to the Masonic Lodge in London in 1717, one of the first Masonic lodges. The book also talks about the other lodges that existed around the world.
Also, I recall that the second book - the one about the Knights Templar - described the huge fortunes of some of the Templars as well as a treasure about which there are only a few theories as to what may have happened to it.
Pretty interesting to read.
