There has been a lot of power used and gained in the name of religion. As humans I believe we all have a spiritual side. I do not think there is a person alive who hasn't wandered about " the meaning of life" and all it has to offer.

Fair pushback. Let me reframe, the Israelites in captivity were exposed to the duality and good and evil concepts and then went nuclear with it in their now monotheistic religion.

Oh sure ! What I mentioned was WAY before that . Those early Avestan teachings were way before the Zoroastrian stream got to Iran ( and then Persia ) . That was in south Central Asia possibly as early as 1500 bc and Jews returned from Babylon around 600 bc . So there was roughly 1000 years of redaction and twisting of the teachings .

In my study , it was not really until Josiah that 'Judaism' became monotheistic . he had to get his scribes to cover that by making a lot of 'good' 'Jews' , later 'Bad' ( fallen from grace - they allowed other Gods - which was not the case , they always did that , Josiah wrote a back story , made the temple for Jehovah only (it was not before ) 'found ' the Torah in temple ruins during renovation and back dated and constructed Judaism ( not just my idea it is well backed up by scholarly research , eg see the work of Dr Israel Finklestein , an acclaimed archaeologist and historian who is also a Jew and an an Israeli . )

Now demons are evil, and hell is a place for bad people. Somehow Satan is the serpent, Lucifer is a being, the devil and the beast all the same entity (even though the watchers did way more damage to the world, being the reason for the flood and all according to the text).

Prior to that, they weren't monotheistic, demons weren't evil (in fact I think they were just spirits, not demons). Hell wasn't a place.

The underworld concept came from the Sumerians as best we can actually prove.

Yes. If there is a common theme here it is putting the blame outside of oneself .

I dont know much about the Aboriginals to even speak on that. I will be tearing into them at some point to learn their religion and any occult offshoots if they exist.

Well, there are many cultures within them , some 'religious' themes are common . I am not sure what you mean about 'occult offshoots' from them ... but most of their stuff is 'occult ' ... and downright amazing and brilliant !

I could also add that in monasteries and closed church schools, rape and abuse of minors are very widespread. This, too, is far removed from the “divine light” and “universal love” that the Church is supposed, in theory, to embody.
In Russian black magic tradition, it is believed that a very powerful demon named Abara dwells in churches, and that practitioners of dark magic invoke him to perform curses, love spells, and other dark deeds.
