This is not quite a seminal work, but it is a masterful collation and overview of seminal ideas. However, in its list of seven Laws, it misses or overlooks an eighth, I believe - The Law Of Interconnection. I would state it thus:

Everything is connected in some fashion, either directly or indirectly, to everything else. Nothing is, or even can be, completely isolated from all other, or even any other, things.
