I have not been able to get the hang of the universal hexagram, or the standard hexagram rituals, so I have to ask a few questions:
Every day in my journal I add a color for the day to be aware of as well as the general effect of the planet of the day (based off the seven planets), and in addition to the Qabalistic Cross, the LRP, I also am adding the LRH/UH to the mix. So each day, that attributed planet, I do an Invoking LRH upon rising, and LRH banishing that planet retiring.

Is vibrating ARARITA before and after drawing the hexagram intoning the divine name vibrated, ARARITA said again after; equivalent to a Qabalistic Cross-LRP-Qabalistic Cross?

Beside general practice of it, is there a trick to learning it well, and practical ways of testing it's effect?

The Hexagram is the symbol of Sol, and so in the LBRH, you identify with Sol. This means that you are the center of the solar system. And as (practically) everything in the solar system is in some way the offspring of Sol, each and every thing is part of you during that ritual.
That is a key difference between LBRP and LBRH.

I already said how I believe that in the LBRP you banish something that is outside of you. Whether you believe you are a god in the flesh, a mighty demon-prince or something else, you are a part of something bigger just as other things and beings are a part of that same thing. So the other is standing opposite of you and therefor the banishing pentagram is indeed seen as counterclockwise from the perspective of something facing you.

In the LBRH you do not banish something outside of you but you banish something that is inside of you – because (in the mindset of this ritual) you are Sol, you are the solar system and therefor you are all that is around you as well. So then you trace the banishing hexagram counterclockwise, because you and the thing you are banishing see it from the same point of view; through your eyes because there is no “other”. The thing you banish is part of you.

So banishing symbols are always traced counterclockwise, it just depends on where you stand when you look at them.

I did change some things about the framework though:

Because I feel no connection at all with the egyptian gods I left out the whole Isis/Apophis/Osiris analysis of the keyword thing.

As I am Virgo and have Scorpio on the ascendant, I do like that part. So with my left hand I make a peace-sign (a V for "female" or Virgo) and with my right hand a fist with only index finger extended (a "penis" or the sting of Scorpio for "male") then I bring these together in front of my heart / Tiphareth so that opposites unite in the shape of an arrow.

Then the unicursal Hex with the ARARITA in full: one word per line of the symbol. Echad Rosh Acheduto Rosh Yehiduto Temurato (is how I have memorized the words) then point to the center and vibrate Echad. Sign of the Enterer with ARARITA.

Banishing is wonderful - provided you have not given permission, in which case the entity will be right back

Permissions can be tricky. One operator repeatedly failed to banish a possessing spirit from a woman until he discovered that she was sexually abused by her father at age 12. Apparently she did not resist emotionally and this acceptance of wrong-doing was an on-going permission . When she understood what she had done she rejected the abuse and the possessing spirit was dealt with.

It gets trickier when the event has been edited from the memory.

I have seen several similar cases personally

It seems the woman in question would have been helped more by being taught to banish than relying on someone else to do it for her and creating a dependency.

I have observed the same problem in other situations. Permissions are invitations and over-ride banishings.
