Practicing taking my divination public. In the past when I have done this, pretty much the opposite happened however if I kept the divination result to myself then there was a high hit rate.

Used a pendulum to determine the continent that the next pope will come from. I consistently got North American and Asia although Asia was stronger since at one point the pendulum began swinging strongly "I don't know" over the North America tile.

This is preliminary but the next pope could be from both North America and Asia and there is a cardinal who can be seen with this background although it's far from a slam dunk.

Later in the day, informally, between running sessions I picked up the pendulum and went through the same procedure with the tiles. Most of the times were the same as earlier in the day in the formal session. But one time I got just a single tile, Africa, which was a new result.

As a result I'll be changing my procedure, doing banishing rituals, invoking rituals and more formally casting a circle (for me, in order to focus) and will consequently be formally invoking my gods and goddesses and drawing down their respective prophetic influences.
