Yuck, AI.

Sorry.

Anyway, I've heard of that one too. It's interesting concept that can quite change the angle of that part of Genesis story.

but wait, there's more...

From the Talmud, based on a hyper-literal translation of the text from Isaiah Abraham and Sarah were ambiguously gendered.

Please, Log in or Register to view URLs content!

"... Rabbi Ami said: Abraham and Sarah were originally "tumtumin", people whose sexual organs are concealed and not functional, as it is stated: “Look to the rock from where you were hewn, and to the hole of the pit from where you were dug” (Isaiah 51:1), and it is written in the next verse: “Look to Abraham your father and to Sarah who bore you” (Isaiah 51:2), which indicates that sexual organs were fashioned for them, signified by the words hewn and dug, over the course of time."

Whether it's true or not; it's clear, the Rabbis of the Talmud and Midrash believed in more than 2 gender categories. For some it's common knowledge, but, in that time and place I find it to be very forward thinking.

No matter how ...

... is an all inclusive statement which is rarely true, in my experience.

I'll hit the brakes if you need me to.

See above? With all due respect.

You seem comfortable with who you are, so let me ask sincerely: WHY are you transgender? Like seriously? Do you feel trapped in the wrong body energetically? Do you feel masculine/feminine traits and need to express both? You like everything sexually? Are you on any mental medication (none of my business but curious without judgement)

Im not attacking you. Ive never talked to a trans and, i have pretty normal opinions, such as there are only two sexes. I also have a lot of curiosity.

Here is my take; if you want to be trans. Then be trans. But be honest, because prior to the 2000's if you were a trans person. You paid a harsh price for it socially and yet they stuck with it because that is who they are and they had no choice. I respect the shit out of that! They said fuck everyone else. This is who and what I am. I have no choice.

Now it just seems like a trend. There is no bravery or moral fortitude involved. Only righteous indignation that everyone has to accept your role of who you think you are. Straight people don't even get that privilege. You have to prove who and what you are. You have to embody it. And you sure as hell can't force others to accept your self-image.

Final take, and I look forward to your commentary. When you are trans you are shirking your responsibilities in life. You are hiding from your responsibilities of being a Man (and there are A LOT) nor are you capable of bringing to the table the special energetic qualities that make a Woman special and what they are and why feminine energy is so amazing. No matter how feminine you are, you are incapable of bringing the essential female essence. And it is special! If you're the other direction, no difference. Now you arent a man, you cant be a woman. It's seems as if you want to play peter pan and never embody the responsibilites of life.

Sorry if that sounds harsh, but I'm trying to open discussion. People who jump to defensiveness because an opinion is different or opposing their own. Well, thats pretty pathetic.
Ill be honest. I am not sure if its worth giving a full on essay response because I dont know if you'll actually listen to what I have to say. I get the vibe that you are stuck on what you think and you arent likely to consider another's view. And I have so much to do right now I dont think i have the energy to give that kind of response for other's benefit on here. I say this because of this:
I'll hit the brakes if you need me to. But it wont change my opinion on the unique essential importance of the true feminine essence.
I am not trying your opinion. But this kind of mindset is showing you dont have a mind to have a discussion despite saying you want one.

Hi Ziran. See above this part? If it is this, then it is a difference in opinion is all. I'm very ok with what i said.

I wasnt looking to get my opinion changed. I was looking to get to know the person and the choices they made. Their discussion helps me understand their point of view. Not to change mine, but to understand theirs.

This is just gender stereotyping. None of this is Real or True. “responsibility“ (of being a Man) and (feminine) “essence” are social conditioning and have nothing to do with energy and/or archetype. Trans people don’t need your respect. Just because you feel like there was more bravery to being trans prior to 2000s doesn’t make it so. Nor does your respect dictate whether someone is or ought to be trans. Asking someone why their trans is akin to asking an American why they’re American.
it’s surprising to see so much social programming and arbitrary narrative show up here in an occult forum where i would expect people to study thinks deeply (and not just buy into narratives for the sake of it) and recognize that physical forms are just one shape to said forms.
And finally being trans in current day America (Or many more conservatives countries) is no walk in the park. Even if it was worse just a couple of decades ago.

I have a question for you. What's the true femine essence to you? What is it? I think Trans feminine people can embody that. It seems like you are targeting Trans feminine people in this. But they don't have to be tran feminine all they have to do is say I am a woman despite being assigned male at birth.

Trans femine people can embody sterotypically masculine traits and still be Trans feminine because that is who they say they are. My previous reply was made because I didn't fully believe people would just believe other people. I like that I have been proven wrong.

Since people here are busy doing research and looking up interviews on your own about Trans people might help understand them better since many have made podcasts and talked openly about their lives and expierences.

There are a couple I recently looked up on Spotify called Queer as Fact and Making Gay History.

Not everyone feels comfortable sharing their expierences and thats okay. Everyone has their reasons. Personal histories and oppression they deal with as well as traumas.

I know I personally do not like sharing that much about myself.

Usually I don't but I've gotten more open but thats after heavy periods of personal self reflection and trials but its not easy and I've neglected a lot of household chores I should be getting done.

They bring their own special energy of being trans. In India, the third gender - not genuinely male or female, are considered capable of bestowing blessings. They are found in front of temples, and appear at special occasions, and people present them with money in exchange for a blessing.

“In the Ramayana, Lord Rama was banished from the kingdom and he was asked to spend 14 years in the forest. His followers followed him to the forest but he requested all the “men and women” to return back to the city of Ayodhya. The transgendered individuals (hijras) stayed back with Lord Rama. Lord Rama was greatly moved by their love and loyalty and sanctioned them the power to confer blessing on auspicious occasions like marriage, child birth, and inaugural functions.”

Now if you think that is just a story, try using the word ‘Raama’ as a mantra coordinated with the breath.

But then again, the Puranas and histories of the Vedic religion are often contaminated by interpolations by sectarian authors. It’s difficult to tell which was original and which a later addition.

But it is universally acknowledged that one of the incarnations of Vishnu (the manifestation of the impersonal, attributeless Parabrahman (the one supreme self)) who incarnates to establish dharma when unrighteousness reigns in the world) is the female enchantress Mohini. The male God transforms himself to a female enchantress to delude and lead demons to destruction.
