Vampire origins in the bible?

I think God is a vampire, way higher level than the flesh suits on this rock.

It would explain why drinking blood is frowned on in the Bible, it's been shown throughout history that blood is a great source of purified energy and youth with myths about nobles bathing in the blood of virgins to the very real truth of rockstars getting blood transfusions to fix their system up after they pumped themselves full of heroine and other illicit (and terribly enjoyable) substances.

From my experience connecting with God I don't see why he wouldn't be..... shitload of blood sacrifice prior Jesus would be a decent justification for the theory give or take the massive quantity of holy wars throughout history.

Have you seen the movie, or the latest series? Both are great, series absolutely blew my mind once I got past some of the shortcomings

I've seen the movie, because I'm a vampire freak. It was faithful to the story of the book, not many changes. It was well made too.

I do not really know much about vampires apart from the myths and legends, and a lot of that actually came from vampire: the masquerade inspiring me to do a deep dive into them at one point. Most of what I learned from that aligns with the Cain theory, which was already mentioned. But, I do have a very strong personal gnosis (i.e., a functional belief) about them that came to me one day.

I believe they might be non-human ancestral spirits (i.e., spirits of the dead which have shed their humanity and transformed into something else) who find ways to "graft" themselves into people with weakened spirits, essentially taking control over them through their unconscious, and this process is far more I guess you could say "permanent" than mere soul possession or intrusion. I believe this kind of spiritual weakness is not ordinary, but one that runs in particular hereditary tracks, and thus there are specific bloodlines more predisposed to being vessels for these beings. There may even be rituals which were at some point devised by these people to accelerate or facilitate this process. That much I don't know for sure. But I have a very strong belief that "vampires" are definitely real, and very misunderstood. They may not even necessarily be evil, any more than the wolf that catches a young sheep is "evil". I'm kind of leaning that way, since I don't really believe in pure "evil" - there's always two sides to everything.
