I think it's important to ask "which one" and how exactly did you contact them, because I'm absolutely convinced that, "Satan", "Devil", "Lucifer" are not names proper but titles used by many spirits depending on the lineage.

Hello I have recently started working with Satan 2 but my my culture we call him Samael, he was always present in my life but recently I was under massive pressure and suddenly dove into rituals I like to work with him and his other facets namely Asmodeusu and Belial. I’m into Sigil work working with fire working in the woods alone mostly. Satan is all abt spiritual sovereignty/individuality you can follow any framework u want to contact him he likes it best that way in my experience. I have found that he is roughly speaking what you'd expect from an amalgamation of all things the people of the west unconsciously considered evil for something like 50 generations, and not in a cool, punk way. In a rape, slaughter and injustice way. He will obviously lie about what he is, though.

That being said, there are on the other side many different things that will call themselves "Satan". It's not like association between a thing and its name can ever be "true" or "false".

He will destroy alot of elements of your life to try to make you a good person.. so be prepared for a very hard and difficult journey.. This can be very difficult way to live. Most satanists are empaths.. and very receptive to others emotions.. However, some still relish in their egos and try to act a certain way.. In the beginning working with Satan, he will usually just bring you things yo uwant and make you happy. The idea for him is he is pleased that you came to him with worship and for help.. Nice take. What we expect and predict is the basis on which our struggles are founded. You have clearly chosen well. I met Satan in a different way; he was interested in my journey and found me lukewarm because I requested nothing when given ultimate power. This led to an entirely new outcome, which is of significance in some very enjoyable and some very painful ways. But alas, I have developed counters to the negatives.

I will say that you should first work on strengthening your foundation first. What this means is regularly practice rituals of purity/cleansing the aura and remove your life of any vices-- stay away from alcohol, drugs, dependencies, toxic people, unhealthy habits, gambling, lust, anger, sadness, sorrow, and other vices..

After that, spend at least 2-3 years regularly practicing strong rituals of protection/ building your magickal shield of armor/protective spiritual shield.. Satan is not an enemy of God.. if you use a religious practice for protection, keep using that and strengthening that because it will be more effective for you than others because you have already utilized it much.

If you want to work with Hekate/Selene.. she is the one who can teach you basics on magick and ritual, how to utilzie and consecrate/empower ritual tools and elements.. from there, you want to understand all the ritual elements and correspondences of magick, ritual, protection, evocation, divination, etc..

--- At this point, I will say you will be ready to communicate with and connect with Satan and receive benefits from it.. He will require a dedication/contract. This is just how he works.. Be sure you want to dedicate yourself to him because breaking this contract is perilous..

I broke the contract and its like everything i developed during my time in satanism was taken from me.. from abilities/powers/personality.. relationships, etc.. But in the end, I became even more powerful... just took many years to regain myself.

Nowadays I can call upon Satan at will and he always helps me when i need but I am no longer helping him with his agendas on this Earth. or in the spiritual realm. He is a friend..a long term one.

His symbol and sigil are not the ones you will find online about "lucifer".. his symbol is simply an inverted pentagram.. This is his only symbol. he has adopted it as so. He doesn't require any other sigil.. printed images of him can work-- He has billions of demons working for him.. if you call upon him on a Friday between the hours of 1 to 2 pm.. and use blue candles -- he may come.. Call upon him with the names Ptah, Melek Taus, Satan, Shaitan, Iblis, -- utilize the names of Azazel, Beelzebub, Astaroth, --whatever demon answers-- as long as they know you are dedicating yourself to Satan, you are in good hands. you will be assigned a guardian demon-- and the journey begins.. -- After time, if you prove yourself enough, you may meet the real Satan himself.. he is a celebrity.. he might show you himself once but dont expect to see him often.. when you have your chance, be respectful to him..

When working with Satan, the guardian demon records all your doings-- and reports back to those in charge.. It's a system.. but it can get dangerous.. always be careful...

Those who work with Satan are usually brought back to Earth over and over.. In working with him, set a time limit for your contract.. but be careful.. what he may ask of you.

Thank yku again for your helpful reply and I feel that he is not an enemy of God too in my tradition I he is part of God. I have been doing rituals and getting into magick and I’m learning to curb lust anger and drugs too i haven’t been doing it long but I want ti see him and be in his presence in a way that won’t harm me or anyone I love. I’ve been doing that a lot I’ve been meditating abd candle stuff and lots of stuff in the woods I feel like I’m ready like if I did the blue candle this Friday woukd that b safe? I’ve only been doing this stuff fkr like a few weeks but I really want to experience the presence of Satan safely
