What are some of the habits you’ve gotten rid of that changed your life for the better or increased your success with magick? One I can mention is how much sex i was having and getting rest . That changed my energy levels .

I immediately had an epiphany regarding my anger problem and how it was alienating everyone around me. After that, it was fairly easy to change, and everyone around me started changing too. (It's not that I never get angry anymore, but if I do, it's rare, it's fleeting, and it's not very intense - more like mildly annoyed.)

my anger problem
Same thing here. I could not find any inner peace, I was often angry and in a weird state. The practices I started doing got it more and more under control.
Yes like more about mildly annoyed than in the rage mode. Intensity went down.

There was also a feeling of emptiness, depression. This got changed over time thanks to the methods I discovered. Although the practices themselves also caused quite a few problems over the years, until I figured out the right methods.

Yep, same here. Some of that had to do with never feeling that anywhere I lived was good enough to call 'home'. It got so bad I wouldn't' even hang anything on the walls, not even art. But as soon as I started meditation and magic, I 'woke up' to the fact that I had been depriving myself of happiness. I have a home, even if the house is old. Now I'm in a much better space, and yes, that includes art, tapestries, diplomas all hung on the walls to bring a little visual joy to my home. I realized almost immediately that had been one of the symptoms of my depression.

So, I thank magic for breaking through the barriers of depression.

I kind of like simplicity when it comes to these. I have just some Orthodox icons on the walls, no paintings though, most of the icons are just cheap printed ones. A few wooden.

meditation and magic
What I noticed is that the practices broke the barriers between the internal and external, causing an exchange of energies between. When enough of a particular mantra or some practice is done, it releases a lot of dopamine and whatever else. Then the spiritual muscles get better over time.
They activate the key points somewhere in there.
This has a huge impact on the overall state. However I also figured out that some of them release too much and you sort of become addicted to it, which is at least a good addiction compared to somebody who would say....smoke weed non stop to get "cured".
I knew people like this and they were just stoned non stop and became weird when they were not. It looked awful. One guy was treating his problems by smoking several grams a day, with a massive tolerance it was not working well anymore.

I 'woke up' to the fact that I had been depriving myself of happiness
This is exactly what I feel and we are not the only ones. I know a few practitioners who are not on these forums and they found the same relief from practices.(y)

For the most part, I have stopped making certain Karens and Kens cry on purpose. I no longer invite door-knocking annoyances into my home just to pick them and their cult to shreds. I no longer keep the cold calling people on the phone on purpose to waste their time and make them want to find a new job. I no longer use any greedy banks, and I don't participate in the work coercion systems of the sociopathic and psychopathic greed-whore pigs. I no longer share subjective experiences as if they were actual facts, and only focus on sharing solid veridical evidence. I talk less, and listen more.
