I'll write these down here whenever they come to mind, and I'd love for you guys to share yours as well—the personal habits and tendencies of each demon.
I'll start:
Ronove tends to work through people. When he wants to ruin someone's life, he doesn't necessarily do it by simply placing a curse or depression on them; instead, he cuts them off from the people around them, ruins their network.
Likewise, when he wants to bring something to someone, he often does it by manipulating their relationships with other people. He brings things to a result and then leaves it there.
What this means is that, unless you specifically ask otherwise, once the person you want reaches out to you, whatever happens from that point onward is between you and your target.
Astaroth tends to take what you say quite literally, so using exaggerations when speaking to him may not always produce the results you want.
For example, suppose you want X to fall in love with you. If you say, “I want this person to fall so deeply in love with me that they become my lifelong pet,” that kind of wording might be used in certain spells, so why not? But if you explain your desire to him literally in those terms, he will refuse it.
The reason is that he will actually consider the possibility of the target staying with you for the rest of their life, recognize that this could be harmful to you, and decide not to carry it out.
Rosier rarely makes use of his own power directly. For example, if you ask him for a chant to obtain a certain power, once you specify your intention, what he gives you will often be a chant belonging to another demon.
Likewise, when you ask him for something, or when he sees that you need something, he will often bring another demon or entity known for handling that particular matter.
This can also put you in some pretty confusing situations.
