You'll get people in magickal communities who call themselves practitioners, occasionally even in this forum, counter-signalling magick and arguing with you about it's existence. I'm sure some glowies know of its existence, but they are few and far in-between.

Also, technology is a lot more reliable, you push a button and get effect. I've never seen anybody get 100% certainty from magick. It isn't something governments will worry about too much anytime soon.
