Hey bro, it's been a long time since our last chat nice to see you still around, returning to this topic now with a better understanding and experience both of us and setting aside the Luis Marques scam, im still pretty sure there is a connection between vampirism and ancient Egypt. In the Egyptian Book of the Dead( Coming Forth by Day), it says that Horus brought Osiris back from the dead transferring his Ka to him. ¿that sounds pretty vampiric to me? It also discusses how the Ka is a kind of life essence rather than simply energy. There's also the symbolism of the Ankh and its use in modern vampirism. However, I think it's a rather complicated topic and a rabbit hole tbh specially compared with other vampiric currents wich are richer in information and, above all more verifiable

Nowadays, to me it seems that most pantheons have a vampiric deity of some sort. I have learned this after i got a fresh look of things about a year ago upon leaving the Aset Ka. And nice to see you around too, been a while lol.

The fist time i saw ankh in the occult scene was in the Don Webb and Belanger books also i think they mostly used it because of its meaning rather than Egypt and vampirism connection

Lilith is perfect. She's not known as the Queen of Vampires for nothing. I suggest you turn your eyes to ancient Mesopotamia – you won't find the figure of the vampire as we conceive it, but you will find vampirism present in many obscure deities, such as Lamashtu, who would later become Lilith as we conceive her.

One of my issues with Lilith, or the multiple goddesses that seem to fall under her umbrella nowadays, is that there are odd, inconsistent views on who/what she is. I've seen her as a Kali analogue in the 218 anticosmic current, even. But my biggest issue, I think, is that there's no real attested tradition of veneration towards her (at least that we know of).

Lamastu, on the other hand... I seem to remember she was propetiated to stay away from individuals... but yeah, most regular types back then were more worried about the health of their families and their fucking crops failing, so I could understand that. Been meaning to read Jan Fries' book on her lately.
