It’s just a coincidental numerical attribution.

88 is the 8th letter of the alphabet twice (HH = heil Hitler). The problem is that a cognitive dissonance has occurred due to the “everyone’s a nazi who is right of centre” malarkey and so people automatically assume that “88” is a national socialist dog whistle.

I don’t think we can really claim dominion over any idea given how old the world is. Every idea is likely a semblance of a pre-existing idea that has been lost to time or exists elsewhere in the world undiscovered.

I don’t trust people to have authentic experience in that current who are too overt with that current’s aesthetics. Certain key (mostly Classical Greek) terms perk my ears up and hold my attention for a while, but otherwise I have to take the time to scan someone, psychologically and acausally.

Tbh, I disagree with the cultural inclusivity of traditions. It would have been a much more interesting organisation of affairs if each nexion maintained the culture and traditions of the homeland in which that nexion was formed. That way, over time, you achieve a diversity of rich magickal cultures instead of a synthesis of lesser interpretations.
