I have not dwelled much in the Right Hand Path. I'm interested in your experience with protection spells, do you use sigils, ritualistic tools, incantations and sigils.

Protection isn't something that is specific to the right hand path, but for me I use both verbal incantations / mantric magic for shielding and banishing rituals personally. I usually go into further more specialised rituals of protection if there is a specific need, but for generic protection it is shielding, banishing, meditation, and weekly / daily purifications.

For purifications, I keep it quick with some magical washing form Bardon's tradition to wash away negativity from my astral side. I also use specific rituals from GoM books here and there in order to keep my mind / emotions a bit lighter. Relieving oneself of heavier emotions and their burdens is a protection by itself. It is helpful. Meditation kind of also helps in the aspect of purification, even though it goes beyond protection.

Well, I have experimented with sigils, ritual tools, and spells.
I guess in my case it is more about the intention rather than the tool itself.
In protection, I like to put boundaries better than protecting myself from certain things. It is something that has attracted me always...

I use a variety of techniques, depending on the exact nature of the protection that I'm trying to convey. Physical talismans (rings, trinkets, or medallions) that have been prepared for the purpose are one, another is a simple ritual of sympathetic magic wherein I ring a proxy with incense, essentially concealing the recipient in a smoke screen. I also have a variety of sigils for narrower protective purposes. These are all separate from the protection of a space, which may also be done by a number of ways, such as an areal banishing/claiming of space, or the use of tokens such as iron nails etc. Do you have a specific purpose in mind?
