Spirit asks me to move to another continent

Hello all, has anyone else ever experienced anything similar to this?
I used the pendulum earlier to speak to my spirit guides, they are locked in and I triple checked it was them giving me the answers. Before, and definitely afterwards again!
They said they had a message for me. I used a letter chart to get words to tell me what they wanted to say. They spelled out I should question my path. I then asked in relation to what exactly, this time without the letter chart as that takes ages and I'm not the most patient person there is.
Anyway the answer: quit your job and sell everything and move to another country on another continent. I mean what?....
I've lived and worked in different countries for years at a time, but am really settled in this one now, job and all. It seems a bit crazy to get a suggestion like that. It did agree it's my choice whether or not I move, and timeline wise if I did want to move.
It suggested some weeks ago that I'd live there sometime in the future and I thought yes, I've fancied that myself. However, maybe after retirement or so (still some 20+ years away) and it's not super easy to get into in that country in the first place. However, back then I didn't ask for a time line, and it clearly wants me to act on this way sooner to want to talk to me and they said within the next months!
They also told me not to worry about the logistics (I definitely would worry, I've done it often enough to know the hassle and it would be even more so now!) because I'll figure them out like I've always done. I mean nice and supportive and all, but what the heck?

The fact that something wants you to move doesn't mean you have to move. I'd even find it suspicious that it's so interested in where you choose to live.

I've asked them before if I'm on the right life path and they said yes then. I think they maybe took that as an invitation to tell me where they see it leading, and therefore wanted to tell me this.
I mean it would be great to have someone who can double check these are my kind and loving spirit guides with only positive intent for me and my life's journey. I do believe it's them, but I do like things to be verified whenever possible. I don't know if it is though.

They might be kind and loving but they're not omniscient. You are the lord and they are your courtiers, not the other way around. Consider the opinions of all your advisors but don't assume they know what's the right path for your life, even if they are genuinely trying to help which is not a given.

Any idea who "they" might be, in relation to the rest of your map of existence?

In the Bible, when God wants to tell somebody something, it's usually like "Behold! I am God. This will now happen!" and it does. You can't reasonably deny it. Opposing it leads you to being eaten by wildlife or worse. But this? It sounds like unsolicited commands from an unvetted source. Despite your familiarity with this source, the method here is still basically asking a Ouija board.

This I also find concerning. If it's important enough to uproot your life and move across the planet, it might be important enough to get the answer the long way. Changing up the technique gives a lot of rope to whoever is on the other end.

Were you directed toward the southern hemisphere? The rest of us might get nuked, might not be a bad call.

A long time ago, a spirit told me to move to Los Angeles, that I would inevitably end up there whether I wanted to or not.

So I bought three parcels of land there, planned to build. Local construction laws made that... impossible... so two of the plots sold and I completely forgot about the other one as life intervened. Ten years later I needed to raise some cash and there it was, sold at profit, and it was really awesome that I had taken the initial advice. But I never moved. I can't see living there as realistic in my future, but who knows? One thing I do know is that unless God himself shows up and says "Behold! I am God!" I'm not going to obey the commands of any kind of spirit, demon, angel, aliens, etc unless I've given it full consideration on my own terms.

They are 88 guidance/guardian spirits, ancestors and relatives from this and past lives, they've told me. They give off a loving and caring energy, and have been helpful with various things. It might sound strange, but our dog sees one of them. I know this because she tracks someone invisible around the room with her eyes on a daily basis and often interacts with them. The main spirit communicating with me said it is my grandfather, who passed away when I was young, who visits us. My childhood dog did the same, so he's been with me since he passed. I used to strongly sense him as a child. We were very close when he was alive, and he would never want any harm to come to me, so I trust that they are kind spirits.

They suggested Canada, so not very southernly.

Very interesting with you buying land and benefitting from it later on, even though you didn't move there.

I asked them earlier if I can complete my life's plan/tasks the same if I stay where I am. They said yes. So i'll take moving as a suggestion, but am not planning on actually moving based on that. If I do decide later on, then because I want to and can see it working. I don't just now.
Thinking about moving made me realise how much stuff we have though, and I think I'll start giving away some things we don't need and declutter a bit. I think that will definitely simplify my life in the long run, either way. So all in all not a bad outcome.

Beware of trickster spirits posing as something they are not (like a guide). I would be sure that you are talking to who you think you are. There are various methods for proving a spirit is who they say they are.

If you are sure they are who they say they are, maybe try asking each one individually for their personal feelings and thoughts about the situation, rather than the whole group.

Finally, even if you are sure of who you are talking to and that they truly want this for you, remember that you are the one in control. Maybe ask them to help you plan it out, because "not worrying" isn't going to work for you, and it's suspicious. Tell them that if this would truly benefit you, you require a strong plan from them, and they must help you with this process. Maybe try sharing your finances during a divination and asking for advice and such.

How can I reliably find out they are who they say they are?

They have told me four of they're names. Out of the blue I kept thinking of a name over and over again, after I first started speaking to them. I asked if this is the name of the spirit I've been speaking to and they said yes. This is the main one I talk to, I ask for him when I start. I got given another three names the same way, one it said is my grandfathers spirit name.

How do you communicate with spirits? I currently only use a pendulum, so can only get yes/no answers. The name thoughts felt like my own, so even if they were to talk to me that way, I'm not confident in knowing it's them or me just making up answers myself.
Using a letter chart with the pendulum takes too long for me I've found, as I get impatient quickly, and that will likely affect the replies with my energy I think.
