I wanted to add that I had noticed that myself too. The more pure and true something is, the more it is likely to be ignored, misinterpreted or outright rejected by the other people. In my experience, secrets do keep themselves secret in their own cosmic way.

I wonder how many secrets I miss though. I do feel that I deserve to know all of them and it is a damn shame that I will miss some. I mean, it is awfully unfair that someone might know more than me!

I made an experiment. Told someone under hypnosis that I was invincible. Taped it on a VHS cam (i am old). You could clearly see that from that moment he was told on, he just looked a bit beside me. Very astonished, because he could hear me, but not see. Duh.
That is automatic. People are using their brain to experience a reality they were told by the common opinion to be real. You are poor, dumb, ugly, sick. You better believe it!
Same goes with symptoms. Or anything negative or destructive. Oh, a witch! Better kill her!
That of course leads often to the misinterpretation that only destructive "magic" is working. No. It's not even magic.

If something is meant to be unearthed, it will at some point, by person dumb or smart, young or old. What's done wit it will be the question. Oil pipelines, construction. Archaeology excavations, rezoning, etc. Something always gets found at its time.

The reason for secrecy isn't because it's dangerous. It most certainly is dangerous but that's not why secrecy is practiced. The reason for secrecy can be found in the paragraph below. Yes it's intentionally cryptic.


When you go to do the thing, you do the thing. You do the thing and you go have a drink, fold some laundry or do some other trivial mundane thing. When the thing happens, it's just another thing. There is nothing special about it. You don't dance around, celebrating that the thing happened. You also don't go tell anyone about the thing because then their active little minds will start whirring about. After all, the cosmos doesn't like people prying into its business. No, do the thing, shut your mouth, and when it happens, it happened. Move on, go do another thing.

Ritual is just the act of focus, so you can reach that infinite moment and do the thing.

late to chime in but seeing as this is us just sharing our different perspectives, my own take on the secrecy is really more of a challenge. I mean to say that the skills we learn in this craft are skills we need to earn literally through experimentation and study.

You gotta want it to seek it out therefore the knowledge itself is hidden from those that don't want it.

Heck even the latin root word of occult literally means to hide or conceal. so take from that what you will.

To keep a secret is a form of unnatural holding. Unnatural holding is a form of constriction. Constriction, blocks the natural flow of energy ultimately causing pain and diseases. Furthermore, when one keeps a secret, the knowledge stops evolving leaving one with half-truths. In my experience I can try to tell people obvious truths, yet if the truths conflict with the persons ideology, or livelihood they will not understand a word I’m saying. I have a tendency to slam science and religion, so I can get people to partially understand until I press their ideological button.

At one point of time the world lived in a blissful place, some call it Atlantis others call it the garden of Eden. Without knowing the story exactly as I have no recollection of that time the story goes that they stimulated constructive energy/levitational energy, that ultimately caused a great flood which destroyed the garden of Eden/Atlantis. After that time much of the knowledge was kept secret possibly out of fear of creating another flood but ultimately the secrets were kept out of ignorance which is a natural product of keeping secrets. The true knowledge was lost and only fragments remained. The holders of the fragments may go to great lengths to keep the world from obtaining their fragmented secrets as their illusionary power is believed to come from those fragments.

Science which closes their eyes to all natural constructive energies overstimulate the only force they understand, the destructive force. Leaving the world in a state where another great flood is less of a risk. Rather we are facing the possibility of total annihilation through a great explosion. Diseases are rampant and they try to cure the disease with the same destructive force that created the disease ultimately causing a worse disease. The cycle continues as we humans have a tendency to see reaction as cause, then adding more to the cause, when we are trying to stop the reaction.

Science and religion are committing a sin of ignorance through a natural desire for power. Yet we can’t just get rid of science and religion as the causative factor is still there and something worse will spring up in its place if not done correctly. The real power comes when one learns to control themselves, sadly self-control gets mistaken for self-restraint which is another form of constriction, ultimately leading to more ignorance/suffering. Even so self-restraint may be better than a total lack of self-control

One final thought there is no such a thing as a secret. What is dark in one state, is light in another. When one truly understands, the world will understand too. So as long as one’s knowledge is fragmented the worlds knowledge will be fragmented too. As long as one perceives a need to keep a secret, they should not disregard their reality but continue to work on themselves until there is no longer a need. When the energy flows freely, the bliss is felt, bringing one a step closer to enlightenment.

I recall a blacksmith that told me that it took 14 years before he was good at metal work.

Perhaps he should have read more books.

I'm 37 now and after working with the spirits for a long time I had a base of what I believed but One day I stumbled on a rabbi who basically repeated a lot of what me and my friends spoke about earlier...but in the context of the Jewish religion

what am I saying? I’m saying that’s when I had my light bulb moment, that’s when everything clicked and made sense. The reason for secrecy IMO is that everyone will understand the knowledge to their ability, more so they’ll understand when their ready

Some secrets are worthwhile to be made public. Such as Karlsson, Ford, Grant, Hall, Regardie and Crowley.
Let alone the masters and newer author's past the 80s.
Some secrets are best kept til come to pass, rule of the sphinx and prevention of rituals failing.
Some secrets should remain secret.
However, duplicate creation takes across the globe.and hundreds of thousands books and scrolls destroyed throughout history, that is the problem.

I was thought that the mind follows the eyes and breath. I was doing meditation work on the breath and contemplating the inner movements of the muscles. One fault that many people have is that their diaphragm doesn’t move properly with the breath. The diaphragm may do a reverse movement or it may be stuck. Without going into too much details, faulty diaphragmatic movements will cause a breath of “pressure” (bad) vs a breath of “suction” (good). A breath of pressure can create negative emotions, it can cause pain in the mid-thoracic and low back area, and as the whole body is connected it can cause pain almost anywhere else. Furthermore, it can be a root cause of many diseases, like a simple heartburn to a gouty foot.

Anyways I was preaching to many people about this if I observed that they have faulty diaphragmatic movements. The funny thing is I understood the diaphragm but one day I realized that after all my preaching I was still doing it wrong, as the diaphragm muscular contraction is a pull down. When that happened, my understanding turned into knowledge, and my breath has been better since.

We construct the world, so we will see only what our mind is ready to see.

I think this is all from me as I’m tempted to trash people’s beliefs and that isn’t nice. When the human laws break natures laws the observant person is serving his way to hell. Maybe on day we will find our self in Atlantis again. But even then, the duality must exist as without the opposite there is no object. Without a duality there is no space, and without any space there can be no movement. Peace.
