Yeah no hate to people who use Rider? Waite or the Rider Waite itself. I don't think its inherently bad. I'm glad others get along with it. I just. I need to argue right now.

I haven't complained or argued with something for a bit and I grew up debating. I was forced to not for a bit just because where I was at and how it conditioned me to not stick up for myself.

Its actually very freeing to. Freeing to complain. I like all the interesting art work made for other tarot decks but also have to acknowledge how classic Rider Waite is classic.

But I actually got a different tarot deck to start out with.

Instead of Page it was Princess and instead of Knight it was Prince. And it had pentacles instead of coins. Instead of cups it had hearts. But it was also kind of old looking. It must have been a different variant which I thought was cool

It was so weird to see people talk about pages when I first started looking up what the deck meant instead of consulting the book. Because I thought the Page was a Princess and Knight a Prince.

It was very different from the classic to start out with. It was also weird to hear cups being mentioned because I thought it was hearts. Pentacles and Coins kind of interchange with a deck I think but those ones were unique to that deck.

A tarot you have to color yourself! that's actually pretty clever idea.

Its a great idea and good training if you are going to get into temple art , making banners, 'altar front' magick square sigils , paint Enochian tablets ( another great exercise ) , color schemes for specific planets . . . all in a 'correspondence system ' .

I have been a Thother for near 50 years now , with many years as a reader at the local markets.

I also came across this one which I like ..... but there is a big mystery about it ....

Where are the missing cards ! ... and what is with the extra ones ?

Q . why no 2 - 6 suit cards ?
